So I’m in Gerudo Town trying to get my man Link some drinks. Kinda surprised they let alcohol in a Nintendo game. Anyhoo, they won’t let Link drink because they don’t buy Link’s “I’m over 100!” response! It isn’t like he’s lying.
Just finished Zelda. The final boss was way too easy. It was still a cool battle though but it is just super easy lol. I wasn’t even close to dying.
EDIT:
Also thought I read you could still explore and due stuff after you beat Ganon, but I assumed it was in the same world with him not in the castle - guess that isn’t the case?
But what, do you have to start a new game without all of your stuff to see the upgraded enemies? I thought you’d be able to go back into the world with all of the evil stuff gone and explore that way, and like go walk through the clean castle and stuff. But the only recent saved game I have is right before I fought Ganon.
no. the game lets you keep exploring as if you didn’t beat ganon. but i guess you get to see silver enemies now.
theres nothing like a new game +. the game just doesn’t overwrite your save file so you play from right before you beat ganon. leave hyrule castle and then explore around.
I’ve been pretty productive over the past few days. Took down the Yiga clan leader, got my third Divine Beast. Thunder Blight Ganon was a pain and I encountered Molduga. I talked to the lady in Gerudo Town to initiate the side quest for Molduga but that was about a week ago and I’d forgotten about it. On my way to the Yiga hideout I saw Molduga’s life bar appear and was shocked to see Molduga was freaking huge. I went through so many arrows fighting that thing.
First time running into Mulduga made me think about Tremors. Apparently I took it down unconventionally since I waited till it lept in to the air to attack me and then blew it out of the air with a bomb arrow. Wife told me I didn’t even need to do all that and could just go fishing with the regular round blue bomb.
Oh man. I cannot believe I didn’t realize sooner that that BOTW lets us live the dream of riding on trees like Tao Papai.
Went into Hyrule Castle to get one of the Royal Guard weapons to complete a side quest. Ran into a Blue Lynel and took him down without getting hit using the Master Sword and food that gave me high level attack up. Usually I go for defense on Lynels but this is the first time I ever evaded every one of his attacks. Flurry rush all day, baby!
