Not if we just stick with our guns. I’m thinking alistar+hypercarry, zyra+CC jungler, diana+anything not retarded, and etc will be fine. As long as one of us gets a solo lane we should be ok. If one of us has to play support, then the jungler will have to do what I did during that last jarvan game.

Your approach to most things is study study study practice practice practice and never actually ATTEMPT until you are confident you won’t lose. Fuck that shit. My first tournament experience was a few months after Vanilla came out on console. I was coming from Halo 3 and knew nothing about fighting games. I came here, I learned a few combos, and then I went to the MI regional thread and talked a lot of shit and called someone out for a money match, before anybody had ever seen me in person.
I went to that tournament, I entered and acted cocky as shit started calling myself by my forum name and got the money match under-way. I came back from 1-4 and beat that dude down, he’s now one of my best friends in the local scene.

I learned how to turtle and how to run away and frustrate someone that day. “Hey what’s the score?” “4-4” “4-4?! WOW” Nobody thought I was winning that shit, not a single person in the room.
I went 0-2 in the tournament, money matched a SCRUB ASS Wolfkrone (he was so fucking bad back then LOL) and lost to his Rose 0-3 Free. These are all learning experiences, if I hadn’t had those money matches and entered that tournament knowing full well that I was going to get my ass worked over a coal stove then I wouldn’t have gotten as good as I did in the years later.

Been playing some Annie lately. It’s really sad to see that she gets overlooked a lot, because that ult of hers can win team fights by itself. I mean, I get why she’s overlooked: her mobility is kind of trash and she’s out-harrassed by some of the more common AP picks. But the hard CC she brings to the table is really good; stunbear’s cooldown is pretty short for the kind of havoc it wreaks.

Yeah I’m at 1390 right now, with only like 30 games or so played, so shouldn’t take too long, so long as I don’t have to deal with SUPREME derpage. So far the games have been reasonable even though I had to support twice. As long as the AD Carry isn’t really bad, Support I feel like I can really carry pretty hard, honestly. Get AD an item or two ahead and get map control, etc.
I actually wish I had done the same thing I did last season, which was wait until the very end and just used the super bonus games to get to gold. Gonna take a fair bit longer this time, since I’m not getting 50 ELO a game.
EDIT: Yeah I looked and I got to gold in 16 games in season 1, and got to 1570 in Season 2 in about the same time, but I wasted my bonus ELO too early this season. So sad.

I fit all of my ADCs on one page…what a varied role…then I have 5-6 pages for each other role. So nice to have.

There’s no such thing as ELO Hell, and you will always get matched up with fucking retards.
No, you just don’t lose your shiny badge and the S3 rewards will be based on your top rating instead of your current rating.
Also this. ELO Hell is ranked as a whole. There is no specific range where things stop being stupid.
I have 2 ADC pages. 1 Support. And then 5 for mid/top. I suppose I would need 2 more for jungling if I played that more often. I could see using more than 2 for jungling if that was basically all you played, but even then a lot of the mastery pages are similar, based around which archetype the jungler fits into.
I honestly don’t see why anyone needs more than 10 Mastery pages. Occasionally I tweak one for very specific matchups, but just about the only time I really care about mastery pages in the first place is when someone tricks me into playing blind pick and I don’t have time to do it manually. The only reason I care about runepages even is that you cannot edit them from champ select (which they should really allow, but then no one would buy extra rune pages, I guess).
