I just picked this game up two days ago… how have I not played this game before? Any other nubs want to play? I’m trying to learn support Leona / Soraka.
Summoner is SRK m00b
I listen to mostly Drum n Bass while I play. Feel like the tempo makes my mouse move faster, gets the energy going

I hope SaintVicious shoves his foot up Hotshot’s ass
To be honest I really think people should start with either AD carry or mid. Why? Because at the start, people don’t know anything about other champions and won’t play the match ups like how they should be played. Problems with the other lanes at the beginning of learning this game go:
-Top: you can’t have a solo top without a jungle. Even if someone q’d with you and could jungle, you are forced to go 1v2 most of the time and that is definitely not the way to learn the game.
-Support: most people think that you just afk and heal/support the adc, but if you don’t know warding spots (a big deal) and can’t figure out when to harass/go for burst then you shouldn’t be first time supporting. Also, in order to play support, you can’t focus on last hitting minions which is what all the other lanes do.
-Jungle: at the start you don’t have any runes. Some champions can only jungle because they have the appropriate runes and/or leashes. It’s hard enough to get a GOOD leash at level 30, leashes in general usually don’t even exist at the beginning.
With mid, you last hit with shitty AD (will ease you into AD carry role), you learn to push/freeze your lane with larger rooms for error (mid is the shortest lane so even if they did have a jungler you have an easier time escaping a gank than top or bottom. Trains you for the other lanes), and you learn to roam and gank (jungler role later). People also tend to send the AP mid lane since they scale better through leveling up.
With ad carry at bottom, you focus on last hitting (the main thing for mobas as I am noticing). As you level up, you will notice that you won’t always have games where you can just practice last hitting free from harassment. ADC bottom is easier than top at the start since top usually has two people competing for last hits at the early summoner levels, mid usually has shitty AD and attack speed for last hitting, support shouldn’t be last hitting, and jungle (if there are any junglers) doesn’t worry about last hitting.
Which one? He’s had like five or six. Riot can’t honestly nerf him to Dan tier unless they just feel like completely fucking up his ratios and kit.
Full Tiamat’s game would be rather lulzy, I should wrangle four people in here into a game to try that out in ultimate troll fashion.
And yeah my fighting game knowledge spilled over to LoL fairly easily. I looked up information myself, poured over character kits and the like and worked on my “spacing and footsie” play in-game. After a month or so it got pretty easy, picking up a character in this game is far more lenient than fighters.
The August one, where they nerfed Diana? I think
God damnit
Dat Doublelift!!!
HotShot too stronk!!!
Dignitas better win. =/
Thanks for the input. I tried AD at the start but for some reason didn’t click with me. Once team fights start breaking out I always ended up roaming instead of farming and my late game usually suffered. I think I’ll try again with Graves. The other thing is that when I queue solo, it seems like everyone wants to be AD bot.
Grand Finals!!!
Guys I like this Game I want play with you guys more…
Dinoz1337
I’m Really good Support/Carry…I Fight like a Boss (With GankPlank Nidalee and Sivir)
Guardians of Middle Earth tournament, one of the teams? “Teemo and Friends”.
I lol’d. Game looks fun, which is sad, since I will not be buying it. Screw me twice XBLA shame on you, screw me any more shame on me.
The thing isn’t so much about clicking, it’s more about understanding the fundamentals. I’m not saying you HAVE to play AD bot, but since it’s the lower level area and people generally don’t know what are the match-ups ad carry bot is usually the lane where you can practice things like last hitting and mid is where you can practice roaming.
Omg that match tsm vs dignitas seemed like a complete blowout…

There is a lot to learn just make sure you play every position until you think you are comfortable with it because you will have to play them all every once in a while.
