The League of Legends Thread: Winter is...coming?

Shit, somehow gotta get that TF skin then. I hate limited skins so much.

But a year from now you’ll be so cool and envied by all the kids in the block.

I’m getting the TF, Brand and Fiora skins. Hecarim is a maybe, I’m not completely sold on the skin but the limited swag is tempting.

Oh yes it is, I’m your fangurl.

20 billion TF skins later, it’s still the first one that has new particles. Also the cards fly differently

Mostly doing it because I own every other TF skin and I like to collect them for him, if I miss one it feels off.

damn son even pax tf?

I’d be surprised if he had Pax TF. Shit is up past $200-300 now.

Nope. You’re too busy skeeting over Maknoon or Toyz.

Don’t want to join the Goat Shlick Club?

I was really sadfaced when I logged on and found out the Halloween skins weren’t on sale :frowning:

Also, inb4 the Brand and Maokai respawn animations cause some server breaking glitches

You know, I don’t believe you can sit there and say your English isn’t very good while you say things like Goat Shlick Club.

just bought a $25 rp card today for the holiday skins.

I dunno, I was playing Windrunner so I figure she’d have better movement. But it was the overall response to clicks and the attack speed and everything else combined I guess. Couldn’t put my finger on it, just didn’t feel FUN.

Their is a bit of delay in the game no matter what, they did it to replicate the feel of the game when it was on the WCIII engine.

Aaaaand… 8 games in a row winning on ranked with Sycflaw.

Yeah but why would you WANT to replicate input delay? That makes no sense to me. There was no sense of impact from the skills either, everything just felt really muted and not as exciting. Dunno just wasn’t feelin it. Made me feel better about LoL as a game, tbh.

Because that’s how the game was and changing it would throw everyone who already played Dota1 off and everyone else can learn how to deal with it.

When playing top lane, when do you know when you are stronger than your opponent? Do you frequently look at how much armor/MR and what items they have before you go in? I can usually only pay attention to summoner cooldowns and their approximate cooldowns for their champion abilities while last hitting (still not the best at that).

I ask because it seems like in top lane, no matter what champion I play, I never win trades. I try to harass but that usually just leads to them facerolling their keyboard in retaliation and killing me. I don’t really know how to harass/zone safely when using a melee champion I guess. Most top lane games of mine end up being me sitting at my turret in fear of even going near XP range while the other person does whatever they please. Whenever I play mid, I can usually handle myself as long as I’m playing a champion I’m familiar with.

Not really sure if I’m ready to play Ranked or not (only 142ish wins in Normal), but I don’t like getting my ass handed to me 2-3 people that have 1k+ wins and it seems like it doesn’t teach me much. On the other hand, getting raged at by some/all of my team won’t be much more fun.

But that’s the kind of thing you can adjust to, and dedicated DotA players would make that adjustment. So why leave something that’s clearly not optimal such as input delay in the game? Because it’s always been that way? Input delay is shitty, if you wanna deal with it that’s fine but there’s no good reason NOT to fix it, given the chance. They went out of their way to put a shitty byproduct of the old game that was never intentional in the first place, and they did it for bullshit legacy reasons. That makes zero sense.

However I am the worst jungler Skarner NA so my opinion means nothing. @_@

I hope the new jungle means rammus permaban every game again
