Its not just hearing them, its them taking the effort and energy to argue rather than work together. Simply muting someone doesnt make tat person suddenly helpful to the team and willing to work together
Doesn’t reporting someone lower your chances of being matched with them again? Or is there no way to do that? I mean, it’s not like reporting someone unskilled actually results in any penalties, so why else would they include that option in the reports?
And yeah hitting the ignore button doesn’t stop that person from being a fucktard in the actual game. You’re still gonna have to find some way to carry that shitty player.
I don’t see how hard it is to just not type in chat if it’s not helpful to the team. I rage sometimes but only out loud, never in chat or if I’m on voice chat with someone, I keep it to myself.
Muting people keeps me sane I guess. I agree that it doesn’t make them instantly helpful, but at least your concentration can be on playing the game and not even having to see their trolling.
I never say anything in game aside from calling objectives or where I’m ganking, which is the only way it should be really
Let me put in perspective how stupid this guy was. So during a team fight, he dies first (he’s the only one that dies), I get a quadra kill, one of the victims being enemy jungler. The only person left alive on enemy team has no chance of stealing baron, so I ping baron and the 4 of us that are alive head over and kill it quick and easy. This retard goes “lol why are you noobs doing baron” and he starts pinging our inhibitor turret that has a wave of enemy creeps near it, but only the size of a normal wave. As in there was no threat of the turret going down, but this guy thinks for some reason that 6 creeps + a cannon minion was more important than a FREE UNCONTESTED BARON
He needed the Baron buff to feed harder, ezpz.

I honestly don’t think reporting factors into who you get matched with. Ignoring won’t stop them from being a fucktard, but it helps you not get aggravated by the stupid shit they say. Think about it. When someone is doing stupid shitty things, but they’re nice about it, do you really care as much as when they’re being obnoxious?

I’ve been lolking’ing some of the players I’ve been matched up with in ranked, and I’ve noticed some truly atrocious players have gotten 1450 in 3s. If they can do it, so can I! Or they were carried.
2x IP on the 14th for compensation for the playoffs. Not bad though it’s only a day.
What happened exactly?
1 power shortage and 2 server failures during the matches, which forced CLG and WE to restart their matches 3 times. That and also the minimap issue.
Played my second Skarner game today.
Well, every time I ganked we got the kill, but I couldn’t gank enough to stop the feed, he’s such a fun champion, I don’t don’t see any of the damage he deals when I play him so I’m disgruntled as to how much help I’m actually giving during ganks. Until I see people dying hella fast as crystallized moving targets :lol:

I dunno the logic behind not using some sort of soundproof booth. Even if the booths don’t block out 100% of the sound, with the addition of white noise, it’s infinitely better than being able to just hear the open crowd perfectly
