I typically see trinity / GA followed by either defense (usually Randuins + Force or Wits), shred Madreds / Wits or BT / Last Whisper.
Building Frozen Heart + Spirit Visage is really uncommon to say the least.

Protip don’t buy deathfire on cassio like me, just sell the kage’s pick, take the value, and buy a real item.
SoloMid guides as well, it’s expensive but works a treat, the AD is great for the triforce synergy, the attack speed helps with the true damage and the % health deals with tankier characters. BT is better for blowing up carries, but Madreds is definitely a decent late game option on Irelia.
I lack GA on that build because it’s built to live, not die, I invest the cost elsewhere.
After Triforce I build Chain Vest followed by Spirit Visage (CDR, more HP from ult + Hiten), Glacial Shroud, Giant’s Belt, Frozen Heart. I’d rather have the Glacial Shroud + Spirit Visage over a GA and change. Part of the reason I do so well with Irelia is the CDR, higher damage output with sheen, lots of stuns, lots of gap closers and keeps hiten style up longer.
It’s not a bad item, but it’s expensive as fuck and considered as a core item on practically no one
Edit: Yeah I see where you got it from on Wingsofdeathx guide, but it’s like a 6th item thing if the game even goes that far and you’re the only one who can assassinate someone
Attack speed, attack damage and armour are all optimal for Irelia. A lot of her damage output comes from on - hit damage as well. Wits + Madreds turns Irelia into an unstoppable shred monster, but it is expensive.
It would be worth getting on a lot of champs if it wasn’t so expensive, but after discussing the item with Kona Kona, it’s probably best that it doesn’t get buffed by a lower cost anytime soon, cause it would be a nightmare if it was a legitimate core item on champs like Udyr

I didn’t get it from anyone specifically, the synergy is quite obvious if you can afford it. You could run it 5th in something like Boots / Mallet / GA / Wits End / Madreds. It’s not a build I would typically use, but if your team is squishy as fuck and you absolutely must carry them… it would work well.
