If you don’t turn off the autosave function at the options menu before you start a new game, you’re pretty much screwed.

Turned the game on and tried loading it. My 12 hours was gone and it was replaced by the very first autosave, 2 mins into the game. **Almost broke my pad looking at the fucking screen **:mad:

You shoulda streamed that tbh. I will cherish this moment forever though…

For that alone The Last of Us gets a 10 out of 10 from me.

Enjoying it so far. Basic gameplay is Uncharted but it nails the survival horror better than last bunch of RE/Silent Hill games. Getting a heavy Half Life 2 vibe from it as well with the dystopian setting.

Yeah, it’s creepy when playing home alone in the dark.

Depends how much you’re willing to spend.
You can get by with a Dazzle and the cords needed to stream while playing on your fancy tv, or you can get some boss HD capture card.

If you go the dazzle route you only need 60-70 dollars at most. If you’re going for S-Video it’ll probably be 80 dollars.
HD will probably be 150-200 for a good one.

Fucking ambush by runners, clickers, and a bloater was scary and fun real shit. That was some of the best survival horror experience I’ve had in a long time. [/details]

As I get deeper into the world of The Last of Us, this game would’ve been an awesome co-op game. Something like Lost Planet did.

Not really digging the game. The Clickers ruin it for me. Stupid one-hit kill nonsense. The rest of the game is fine but every time a stealth section begins I’m instantly filled with dread (not in a good way). I got an extra “Sights and Sounds Pack” code since Amazon sent me one and I got one with my game. 8DJK-L5NL-CQMD

I’d also recommend holding out, until

A: PS4 comes out and you get somthiing that can handle those chords, OR.

B: Get that LGP recorder with built in HDMI ports etc.

FYI PS4 has built in streaming capabilities and recording functions. Also the PS4 will be getting a port of MGS5 and Kojima stated it will look better than the trailers. So yeah gotta agree with C_K, it’s best to hold out.

I like the atmosphere, the characters and the story so far but I have to say I’m finding this game a little boring.

Yeah I’ve spent a lot of my time exploring the cities and buildings for supplies. It’s interesting how empty some places are due to the pandemic and it creates a sense of loneliness and occasional boredom but things pick up at the right times so I’m really enjoying this right now. 9/10 so far.

Also remember PS4 you must have MANDITORY ps plus to play online. So combine that with recording and streaming functions and it = xbl for the most part. Cheaters will have to migrate to WiiU.
