To think that i used to play DOTA on BNET with 2-3 seconds Lag with out caring… Damn i was desperate for online…

Just a few q’s bout Clark…

  • 1.) How do you guys use his hcb+A/C move? I find it kinda slow when going for a throw (i mean he steps first before you can move right. Can’t this move be cancelled?)… *

2.) Anymore throw buffers with Clark?

AFAIK this is what you can do:

A) hcb+B, hcb+A

  • (buffering for super) [works with c.B too but you do it as f,d/f,d,d/b+“B”,b then…]

B) hcb, ff, hcb+A (super)

  • running to super

C) roll (hcb during animation), hcb+A to super

  • Lol cheapness…

D) ff --> neutral --> into hcf+B

  • I called it a buffer since the short ff run (a 1 character length sprint) gives you time to go neutral on the stick to quickly execute hcf+B. Kinda similar to the “dead time” during an A+B roll.

  • This is compared to the long ff run (running from 1/2 a screen demands quick execution of hcf+B).

  • If you are doing this from afar press and hold ff until you are near your opponent; then short ff --> neutral --> into throw.

E) Jump --> hcb --> hcb+A

  • Pretty obvious. This buffer thing has been in most fighting games since SF2.

Dude, I’m right near Houston about an hour or so. Let me know if you’re ever going, to try and get some matches going. Comp is pretty lame over here. I’m going to regionals on Feb. 2 which is in Houston at Planet Zero.

Okay I will certainly let you know when I am in the area…in about a year certainly I will be travelling for Speech Therapy again thus I will be back in the Houston/Beaumont area quite often…I will keep you posted…

I watched most of the vids and jebus its random/wakeup super like no tomorrow, Eiji and Ramon hitconfirms are about the only common ones. mid/full screen hcb.p with adel from drasko needs to stop, someone can get laid and comeback to counterhit xx super that man. Matt did some HH’s in the beginning when he played but stopped later on, you guys need more HH’s in your game still, they make a difference in pressure and mix ups especially when they combo.

Yasanagi likes to empty jump grab/super or early jump in attack for grab/super set up, and you guys fall for it alot since I see no AA action going on if they don’t have a dp or dcu move that is quick.

use some mix ups of what combo to start with Eiji like either s.D, qcb.C like you done so far or go low for a c.B x2, qcb.A xx super. incorporate that in with HH mix ups to keep your opponent guessing to either block high or low, and the same theory goes for the rest of your char’s.

I’m not the best or probably no where near it but this is what I see from your vids.

If you didn’t have a a super bar would c.B (x2) to hcb+B be an okay alternative (or is it unsafe?)?

it combo’s, most of Eiji’s moves are safe but I’ll leave that to DG to answer if you can get punished or not.

misterpoon, there’s your answer. just stick with qcb.A it’s safe and combo’s. not high in dmg output but you can’t complain when you just landed some dmg. I think of Eiji more of a zone type, he has the tools to do so and he’s not big on long combo’s either like KGO.

Thats the truth…stick with qcb+a and dp+a to end your stuff with…
