thx rougeyoshi, i’ll be trying that out today. i know that if you do her super it can be buffered as hcfx3, p and it will come out w/o the boomerang.

a recap it’s hcf+p for the boomerang then ~N then hcf+p again. cool:cool:.

your right remxi-lou it’s just a super fast-ass input and what i called the inputs are greasing the stick from each corner fast from 4-6-4-6. retarted:annoy: but i keep praticing it until i can get it down pack. as soon as i hear CRACK:wow: thats when…:hitit:

Krazy Kone I’m with you after talking to someone in Japan right now and doing some experimenting of my own I am convinced Kasumi is top tier.

Kasumi:

Builds about 1 to 2 meters in 1 round blocked or not! (Great battery)
-Safe off certain parts of blocked rekkas
-Does great damage with regular bnbs
-Her normals have great priority
-Excellent BC Comboes with the MAX2!
-Only takes 3 bars+ a MAX2 to do 70% + damage of health with ease! So yes she doesnt need five!
-Can ultimate juggle off her com grab into the MAX2
-Can lockdown with the shortrange fb
-St.CD is very fast and very good.
-Can Ultimate juggle Sweep into MAX2, St.CD by itself into MAX2. She’s deadly and for sure on my team as a backup or a starter depending (Depending on what the ruleset is!)
-Is completely invincible during the MAX2 so your opponent has to be on their toes just like vs. Geese because she has almost as many ways to set it up!

She’s very very good and I experimenting with turning her into a female version of Geese.

I also definitely think Kasumi is top tier…however, I don’t see how she resembles Geese at all.

And not only are her normals good but also her jumpins…if anything I think some of those hitboxes were unintended and buggy.

-MAX2 confirmable off a grab (command) like Geese
-Very good normals like Geese
-Gi like Geese
-Very good jumpins like Geese
-Very good BC comboes like Geese
-Easy damage off bnbs like Geese
-Counters like Geese
-She even has Ultimate Juggles, something Geese does not have.
-Not to mention she has very good air to air attacks…like Geese…good luck beating her in the air.

Which makes the US Tops:

It also crosses up…thats what I use when they are crouching to cross up…now she has problems against anyone that’s good as keepaway like Billy…

well i would say billy is a good ass keep-away character i give him that but i’m hella glad when they took out his crack shorts. c.Bx3 into f.A that was too good in 2k2 that gave him a dumb-ass rushdown parameters on that. so gay… YAS no more crack shorts n2 the dumb-ass f.A b&b bullshit:woot:!!!

well ya know Kyo is gonna stay beasting rushing that shyt down. k’ has good rushdown with narrow spike as a FT into dp repeat on BC mode as long as you don’t get counterattacked. ya know the og’s iori, mature, and ryo imo and in my books.

I think some good rushdown characters are: Kyo, K’, Iori, Ramon, May Lee, Chris, Kim, Kasumi, Yuri, Terry. Eh, there’s way too many I can’t pick one out as number 1.

I’d also add Nameless as a good rushdown character. Also Kasumi having an overhead is something that benefits her immensely, esp considering she can BC cancel it, so she almost has the complete package. Grapplers also give Kasumi a problem, esp. Daimon.

EDIT: Kasumi’s St.CD is straight up godlike. Too fast, great priority (Very few things beat it, at worst it trades, K’s DP beats it but then again thats risky as hell!) and great for corner mixups and if you do it after they wakeup from something they cant tech and they try to roll she can punish! (She recovers fast enough!)

Think Young Geese’s St.CD in NeoWave with 1/3 the range and doesnt move forward and thats what you got!
