Are they going to release the original 2k2 um or will they give us 2k2 um revenge?
Though the game is horrible, think of it like smash.
We get something we like, but when it comes to the new age of gaming we get bullshitted. Smash players wanted another game with depth, we want good netcode, and neither of us are getting or possibly will get what we wanted.
If in XII I can’t play a guy in Rialto (40 miles) without lag, then something is wrong. If after downloading a patch nothing improves, it probably won’t.
Another reason why SNK will belong to Asia. Being that arcades are a past-time there, we pose little competition because they’re playing the game where it needs to be played, and how SNK is only allowing it to be played.
The shitty netcode is proof of SNK’s lack of proper marketing in the states, same with 1 year gaps between jpn and us releases (except xii). As much as I love their FG’s, they still don’t give enough back to us american players.
ha, I agree whats with the garbage netcode for those games? Didn’t capcom buy the ggpo netcode?
Maybe they’re using some default garbage and don’t want to pay Capcom royalties?
In 2002um can terry combo off his rising force super? For some reason I seem to remember being able to.

Yeah you can but I’m pretty sure it’s a May Lee specific combo due to the fact she stays in the air for juggles slightly longer than the rest of the cast. You can combo a dp+K or d~u+P afterwards in either 2k2 or 2k2UM. I couldn’t get it to work on the other characters I tested.
Though this thread may seem dead due to KOFXII lo and behold it will get quite a jump after next weekend when I post all the matches from the latest CD. Juarez, Mexico 2k2UM Ranking Battles, which will feature casuals, tournament matches and of course Da Super Bowl!

At high level Geese is the best character in the game due to the amount of options he has over anyone else.

It’s not that way, there are quite a few counter characters to Geese within the game that I have told people online about…

do any1 know how to SC Whip’s code slaughter out of the boomerang? i know there’s a very strict and very tiny window to do it. i studied the execution for it and i can’t get it consistently. tried many ways of buffering.
my ways i try to do it very fast b4 the first hit of the boomerang comes out and still dosent come out damn it! you have to grease the stick xtra hard and dbl. tap the button(s) to make that shit come out.
any help would do thx.
