How many points are given to each placing for the Ranbats anyway? I did decently this past sunday and was wondering how many points I earned.

Yeah this is White Peter… tall, dark hair, goatee, etc. If you’re just hitting up training mode, I’d practice your execution. Things like cr.LP, cr.LP, cr.LK, EX upper, cr.LP, cr.LK, HP headbutt to start. That allows you to work on your rhythm and timing.

Doing Balrog’s trials is actually useful… you can use a lot of those combos in game. Balrog also has great normals, like cr.MP, far HK, cr.FP, and especially cr.HK. Understanding those can really help your game.

I’ll go over more with you in a couple of weeks, unless I’m not there (cause it’s Father’s Day… I might have to work).

Okay. I’ll be using Balrog for the whole season, so we have time to work. I’ll try not to flip out, and by the next dojo visit, I’ll have that combo figured out. I’m having a hard time with some of hard link trials, so I’ll work on those, and see what I can get out of the trials. Thanks.

A lot of the link trials in balrog’s trial mode are useless like anything that uses crouching medium kick. Nobody uses that move.

yea, drop-ins are 5, just get a membership cause if you drop-in once, and go to a tournament thats already 10 bux and i’m pretty sure you’re likely going to come to at least 1 more tournament within the next 4 months.

ok so my personal xbox rrod’d, can someone bring their xbox to replace that one? I have 2 monitors at the dojo (3 if mike gets it soon), one ps3, one xbox.

I’m planning to bring my PS3 this sunday and my beater fight stick Hori Fight Stick 3 as you guys horribly raped my TE stick and it hasn’t been the same since =\

Lex - I have a 360 as well however I don’t wanna bring so much gear, if you can bring the cables, sticks, and the game itself. I can bring just the console by itself. Let me know as I don’t have the 360 version of SSF4.

I only have component cables for the 360, my ps3 has hdmi

I’ll bring my 360 again. Hdmi only, don’t have the comp cables. I assume my copy of super was just left at the dojo all week?
