Totally needs her Cr. Hp hit box restored - I lost a few of my team-combos. Damage being restored would be great as well because I’ve resorted back to using Ken instead of Juri, simply because I can do more damage.
They nerfed her SA awhile back but buffed Ken’s SA so there is that too.
I love Juri but she gets no love from Capcom. Much like Chun-Li in SSF4…ugh I won’t even talk about that - I hate charge characters, can’t believe I put up with it.

I 100% agree and respect that swap. I also lost all team combos off of psycho crusher and scissor kick with the AA hitbox nerf (minus a few corner situations), as if all the damage nerfs weren’t bad enough doing a low forward to pinwheel for an ender is nothing short of pathetic 
Not going to lie Juri users, this character really took a hit from the last patch. The stealth nerf on her overhead which recently has been brought to my attention is the clincher. That was a VERY important tool in her already lackluster footsie/neutral game. Being forced to block or risk a counterhit with it now being -2 is yet another useful tool loss. I accepted the jump cancel nerf, but the overhead stealth nerf is the final nail in the coffin and was uncalled for as that overhead led to nothing without a counterhit-and all of these damage nerfs on two of her key normals is pitiful. When you start playing serious players using top characters- she stands out as the weakest link. I think she is only optimal at high level when paired with Hwroarang just because they have such great synergy and Hwroarang is imo one of the best characters in the game.
Other wise she is outclassed by way too many Tekken characters like Hwroarang himself, Heihachi, any character that has safe overheads along with good neutral game, AAs is now a better Juri.
Also the nerfed AA trades vs certain characters using certain normals even when you time it properly.
She’s still good, still has some wonderful assets and I still prefer to use her vs many scenarios but I’ve picked Chun-Li up after an offline session vs someone I used to beat pre-patch with my team… because she’s holding my Bison back now, and even online I noticed I have to play way too fucking perfect vs certain teams and characters because of her nerfed damage and nerfed utility. My Chun who is pretty new did super good vs him too
She’s going to be an alt now, but I will never drop her as I put too much effort into this character and she isn’t bad by any means.
I’m the opposite myself. The only reason I’ve been playing other characters lately is to learn them a bit better, but offline I’ve found Juri’s done better for me in most matches. Still using Cammy/Juri but leaning towards Juri/Julia in the near future - just working out more synergy for them in the meantime.
She’s actually much worse offline, you cannot get away with as much jumping, you must footsie and well… have fun with that vs certain characters. But if she is working for you- go for it. Like I said she’s still very good, but vs certain top tiers used by strong players she’s going to struggle a bit.

The fact that I now struggle against the computer AI makes that statement valid to a degree.
Computers do not think like humans, they read inputs especially jumps but will lose to the most random silly stuff so I wouldn’t base my comment on that, lol.
Basically if she is against a character with both strong pokes + air priority or a character with strong ground game + AA she’s in trouble. There’s a lot more of these now. Pre-patch she had a better footsie game with good overhead, non-trading AA, and she could at least force the opponent to play her game because they lacked good AAs as well, but if they wanted to jump on her they risked massive punish. Characters with perfect AAs weren’t as common either- so she could jump more freely.
Now, her AA can trade in more situations. Unlike Chun Li, if it trades- you cannot continue the combo. Even worse, many opponents that beat her on the ground but could not AA her without good reaction air to airs pre-patch can now AA her for free, like Law. Juri’s saving grace pre-patch was her jump arc, and her AA to make sure opponents would respect her. Although she still has good jump ins, there’s now many Tekken characters with AA that lol at it and they are no longer as intimated from her own AA since the priority and damage has taken a hit.
With the overhead nerf, she can lose momentum very easily and a smart player will be less inclined to press a bad button- which Juri wants. Now she has to rely on smart ambiguous jump ins and even her best normal for that (jump fp) suffered a damage nerf.
She was more a less a glass canon, now she is a glass sword. Not hitting as hard, more limited utility- let me clarify I’m not trying to completely downplay her that hard, she is solid but now more than ever she needs proper gem and teammate support. Overall she is above average, but slowly you are seeing more and more people pick up Tekken characters- life will be more difficult for her. I don’t know whats up on other mediums but on xbox it’s mostly Law, Lars, Hworoang, Paul, a Mishima, Lili, Dudley, or Nina. She does her best vs against underplayed characters now.
Unlike other characters Juri hasn’t seen a buff since release. Funny enough even with these nerfs Juri is still top 10…which is awesome! But anyway, I gaurentee you that if there is another patch and she gets buffs…Tears will flow every so smoothly. But I’ve managed to work with the nerfs ( still hate them though) and since this is a team game…King and Yoshi got Juri’s back to the end. So these “top tier characters” can blow me.
Juri’s is probably the 4th or 5th best Street Fighter Character, which would mean she is not top 10 because there is a handful of better Tekken characters. King is also horrible vs top characters, you must be living in a happy land called online. You’ll only see her place or do work when paired with Hworoang. I think that’s her best bet these days.
She received one buff, which is the increased height of her cr.hp. I can now finish a synergy combo with a super art, although the damage nerf kind of made it moot.
Despite all of the practice I’m putting into coping with the game’s changes, I can’t help but think that I’ll end up sucking online once 2013 hits the PC.

If you see her at all, she’s going to be with Hworoang and it’s not like she will be making top 3 or anything. You hype this character with no backing, and your arguments for her being good is saying my points are “a load of crap.” Rufus, Chun, Dudley, Rolento, even Bison are all better than her on the Street Fighter side. On Tekken side she is outclassed by all characters that have safe 50/50s that lead to hard hitting combos because they now have AAs that are better than hers plus mobility and good footsies. Then we have Law, Paul, Lili and friends that are just better…
Don’t be discouraged. You can still use her. She’s still very solid. But you will have to make less mistakes and deal with the fact she is now outclassed by many Tekken characters- and these are now very overused characters in the metagame.
You’re on Xbox. I’d happliy play your Bison. I ain’t about fret. You clearly play Juri differently then I do. Tournament results? Have you seen the Juri’s there? they were god awful. Take for example LPN vs Infil. I don’t know what the hell LPN was doing…he doesn’t main that team does he? If so…that’s god awful. And saying Hwo is the only good thing for her…whatever bro. Take it and go. Actually…show me a vid of you playing. I want to see, how this Bison of yours is.
