Someone had just recently introduced me to this game and I just wanna say that it kicks ass! I’ve never even heard of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure before until now. I also wasn’t aware that it was made from Capcom, so I was excited to try it out 'cause I’m a fan of all fighting games and I’ll play anything.
During my first time playing, I chose Mariah (spelled Mahrahia in the game) because I thought she was kinda cute since she looked like a fusion of Rogue and Storm from the X-Men. Plus I’ma fan of Mariah Carey anyway (someone told me that all the name of the characters in the game were taken from music artists or something), LOL. People told me that was low tier, but I didn’t mind because I actually liked her. She has Arctic Attack (Ice Man’s only hyper combo from Marvel vs. Capcom 2)!
I’m going to have to get myself a Dreamcast to PS2 converter in order to fully enjoy this game. I won’t get into it seriously but I at least want to know how to play it and have enough a good amount of knowledge of every character.
i was on GGPO for like 2 or 3 hours in the afternoon and not a single player came in?? T_T
Yesterday was a weirdly dead day. I basically logged in the moment I got home and almost no USA/canadian players were around. Fair number of Japanese players, though.
Work has been kickin my ass with hours. That and other social events. So I’ve not had time for such things. Next week is not lookin too good for JJBA either for me :sad:

So GGPO is down huh? Now I’m bored.
I was messing around this morning doing some links in Jojo’s on the emulator and I decided to see if the “plinking” technique that people use in SF4 works in Jojo’s. Well, it “seems” to work from the few combos I have tried…seems to make links easier. Does anyone else know if it does work?
For anyone not familiar with plinking, basically when you do plinking in SF4 in training mode you will see when you cancel a stronger attack into a lighter attack, it registers the first attack twice. I don’t have a the Dreamcast version to test it out nor do I know if it has an input display option in training. Someone with some free time and the DC version test it out and see if you think plinking makes combos easier to do.

Man, I couldnt block those fucking crossups at all, damn online. I got frustrated since every game today has been laggy, and I’m pretty much stuck with XBL since GGPO is down and 2DF is filled with stupid scrubs.
and Bang has to be the lamest character I’ve seen in a fighting game, playing Bang is a fucking fad these days (Let me guess, “says the Jin player”?)
