I always appreciated the offers, but I just… dont really care anymore. I’ve never had the passion for the game like you guys do and I know I’ll never really get anywhere without it. I think I’m burnt out on it I guess, and I feel like I’m kinda forcing myself now. Kinda like what happened when I first quit playing 3S except that I actually like this game and it doesnt have a shitty ass community.
You just need a break bro. Once kofxii comes out and you play the shit outta that, Jojo’s will be the fall back game. Just gotta take a break when your not feelin it, then it’ll all come back. I think i’m gonna mess around with Blazblu for a bit. Just got it, and i think i’m gonna main Bang.

- No competition.

Those are the reasons why I just couldn’t bother with Jojo’s anymore. Most people play on 2DF and the net coding sucks for Jojo’s.Even if i played on GGPO the net coding still isn’t good enough, because Jojo’s is a CPS3 game(Meaning it has button delay).

I gotta be learning and practicing a few games for an upcoming tourney (ST, BB, GGAC) if any one of you guys are willing to challenge me in those games, I’ll gladly accept the offer. this is actually one of the reasons why I love jojo’s. the technical lvl in this game is not ez at all and not every one can pick it up easily but this means when people actually learn the shit we get to see awesome fights and combos.

The problem is, the netcoding isn’t good enough with those hard links. With links like that, u really don’t want any type of delay or lag.

yeah I never denied that this game has some links that require instant reaction in order to continue the combo or to hit confirm and the delay just doesn’t help

once i stopped worrying about lag / links / etc, the game became alot more fun.
we all can see a droped combo / and perform them as well haha.
we are talking about online play here, i dont think anyone takes win/loses seriously.
monster hunter frontier has consumed my life for the time being.
2df is cool and all, but Im really disappointed that all the action is on ggpo now, and im completely unable to play it with any kind of decent results.
ggpo cps3 games run like complete trash for me atm. intense visual skipping is a no go.

EDIT: Roadapple has a point as well, once i stopped giving a damn about lag/links and what not, the game became way more fun. I don’t get discouraged as much, and i only get even more joy when i hit a hard link online. So far, i’ve just begone to dedicate my combos to muscle memory. Every now and then when i don’t get supers/tandems to come out or pushblocks due to lag, i will get frustrated quite a bit but for the most part, i’m just learning and messin round. Pretty much, the bottom line is stop getting upset over not being able to perform well online, and just perform. Regardless of how you do, or what gets in your way, it’s slowly progressing that counts i guess. Then again, this is major fanboyism talking
