:wonder: why would matt know that hes a Dio player plus the trick to the loop is just to cancel the dash by pressing down
Ok, that’s what I thought. Matt dabbled in S. Dio sometimes when he got pissed at Dio if I’m remembering correctly, and you hadn’t posted in a while. 
So yeah, cancel the dash before the normal I guess then.

So I’m this close to having my network finally set up right, so I’ll be wired again instead of wireless. I’m looking forward to playing Jojo’s (semi?)regularly again.
On that topic, there are a couple things I’d like to do.
- I’d love to take suggestions for tutorial vids/etc to try to make the game more accessible to new players
- I’d like to offer to capture/encode vids (input recordings) of matches if anyone has some good ones - I’d post these on the StandCrash youtube channel rather than my own probably.

Also, I will be updating Dio standcrash again this summuh. I am going to make sure that page is like 95%-ish complete. Must study, must play, must add informacion.

I am a liar! Man, I will go to Evo eventually. IT IS on my bucket list. Just not this year. I have no money, no job, I stopped playing jojo’s for awhile and I am not playing any fighting game beyond jojo’s to test my skill in (aka a fighting game that more than 10 people in the U.S. play).
Maybe next year, or the year after that, or the year after that… Seriously, I will go WHEN I have the money for it. For now, most of my money is gonna go towards buying nicer clothes and that’s just how it’s gonna be.

Hey guys, just got this on ggpo, trying to learn. Day 1 was rough, got raped pretty good. Find me on GGPO. Username UFGT. I am really bad, so if you are also really bad, play me. LOL.
Okay there is a few improvements to ggpo.
Main thing is that the win streak and Mariah’s Magnetism level are now viewable without reseting the game.
and if you edited the HUD (life bars) they are also viewable without a reset.
good to hear about the changes in ggpo. i just hope ponder makes sure to update the version of FBA once the one that eliminates microstutter on win7 is out.

I think most of the regulars here would happily help someone new, though most of us use GGPO exclusively.
As far as resources, check out the standcrash wiki (http://wiki.standcrash.com), hardedge wiki http://wiki.hardedge.org/index.php/JoJo's_Bizarre_Adventure:_Heritage_for_the_Future (In german), or the SRK wiki on the game but that has less info than either.
*I would use ggpo but ever since my computer messed up about a year ago ggpo never agrees with me so I recently just started to try out supercade and play on that now. I’ve scoped out Standcrush a few times but I have no way to practically put anything to use since I’m only playing the computer. I have a easier time learning through playing against people and learning from my mistakes. If any of you guys have Supercade I would appreciate playing against you to learn the game.
And oh yes I don’t play Petshop. It’s just that when me and my friend first started to dick around with this game he chose Petshop and I said “this has to be the best character in the game” and I happened to be correct. *
