hey, i want to get into this game - anyone knows what ping i should max. be playing at in ggpo before it starts getting laggy?
any good guides out there for the game? besides gamefaqs, i hate gamefaqs.
150ms is where it starts breaking up for me, below that it’s pretty smooth.
As for a guide the SRK wiki has the basic info in there, for any missing movelists the DC FAQ at GameFAQs should cover them (edit: I added those to the wiki now). And search YouTube for “jojo bbc combo” for a lot of advanced bread and butter combos.
Just putting this up here so people can see wtf is going on. I’m calling for a January meetup for that JJBA session located somewhere in California. I’m thinking a place where they’d allow us to use their facilities to play (like a nice comic shop or UC). I’m thinking something like UC Davis or San Jose state.

Dio has some of the best moves in the game, but from my experience playing against ATG his tandem setups seem pretty demanding.

yeah man, dash cr.a1 cr.a1 forward a2 tandem is complex! can beat 90% of people with just that.
ice = master of easy dmg
altho, i do have fun just jumping around trying to land dash cr.a1 cr.a1 stand + > + a1 a2 a3 super.
gets even more fun when you start that with a > + a3 qcb A! hell, this makes every combo more fun with him.
