Actually he’s been here for 7 months now. And he’s “talked down” several people in the office already. Hasn’t talk me down…yet.

Upper management ALWAYS talk down to people. The exceptions are rare.

Upper management needs a elbow from the top rope OHHHH YYYYYEAAHHHH!!

Ever since I’ve been working fro my organization, things have been messed up. There was a time nepotism ran rampant. At least 80% of the workforce here were related. There were stories about people complaining or talking bad about a coworker to someone only to find out that the person they were talking to was a family member of theirs. I almost made that mistake but my coworker cut me off real quick. Eventually they got rid of nepotism but they brought in “corporate” people which lead to mismanagment of funds and we had a hiring and budget freeze for like 6 years.

It’s pretty safe to say that if you’re posting questions like that in here, your spider sense has been ringing for at least a day or two already. I’d say take a closer look at him or her and hopefully they at least know what they’re doing. If they’re stupid, don’t be surprised.

Company is ready to announce all the plans for the Theme Park’s 60th anniversary tomorrow. The measles outbreak is however spoiling the fun and the news keeps bringing it up.

Good luck Inferno. Hope things go smooth.

I had to train new hires today but new hire scheduling didn’t update their training shift so I ended up having a mismatched schedule along with other trainers. They forgot that the park closes today at 6pm for the announcements instead of the normal 8pm time so I started 2 hours earlier than my trainees. Since we cannot modify existing shifts now I have to do 2 hours overtime.

Management wasn’t happy about that so they along with myself and the other trainers swnt emails to make sure this won’t happen again. Good news is that not only get dat overtime pay but it’s stacked on top of Trainer pay rate. Not much extra but I’m not complaining. Either way I’m off tomorrow so it’s all good.

Please dish

Announcement to commence in 10min.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t taken into consideration for the Admitting Officer position at the hospital nearby which blows, especially when I actually wanted that position to get out of retail. Not having a day job sucks.

This snow has been foul for the past few days. Work closed early so I got the day off.

Haven’t got much snow in my area, just heavy winds.

I think you said you worked disney world right?

I used to work at All-star music resort when I was 18 in the food court, job was ass because you would get written up if you didn’t smile but the sandwhich and pizza shop was god tier; so many fun memories until people got fired for abandoning stations

shououts to Pleasure Island when it existed, BET soundstage was dope, so much ass out there

Dave 3.0?

Well I work Disneyland Resort in SoCal. about to hit 5 years there in a few months…fuck it’s been so long. Telling us now that we’ll be expecting a LOT of overtime come May. I’ll make bank…at the cost of my sanity.

This reminded me when I went to a Checkers last month. I stopped there to get a milkshake and as I pulled up to the window I heard all this commotion going on even thru the closed window. When the guy opened the window and gave me my shake, I could hear this broad going the fuck off in the back. Thank the Lord I was only getting a milkshake not a meal.

Well, I went out today to complete the second half of an application for a photo specialist position. The manager seemed affable as well as the staff, though I’m a tad nervous if I can take on the position. I’ll be operating machinery again as I did with my first job, but I hope I do get the job, even though I shouldn’t get my hopes up - the manager stated that someone else had applied for the position but hasn’t gotten to them yet. After applying the previous night, I call the next day and spoke with the manager who stated I could come in to pay a visit. The cashier whom I’ve spoke with stated that not much hours are given, and I can say the same about my current one, but it was about time I’ve looked for something better that will grant me enough to do what I want and need to do. It’s very aggravating only having enough money to do so much.

damn. been a minute since this thread has seen any hype. where is everybody?
