Same reasonment made peoples bitch about KoF13 wich was by far best art SNK did in years and years, almost SFA/SF3 good
Also SF2 sprites were bad due graphic (actually were good for the time), but some of the art, specially the pencil sketches were awesome
SF3 and SFA art was great too indeed
In some way even SF4 had moments of great art (not ingame)
That SvC Bison sprite will be bad both as stylization and realism lol, is just ugly and inferior to SFA or CvS ones

On the plus side, that many Cammy clones means someone is bound to have good match ups against them.
Before SFV, I would have been ok with it, now that they basically showed us what they almost all can do, I’d feel real cheated.
Anything more than one would leave me a bit salty. Especially if they weren’t fully unique characters and were just Cammys with different specials.
But I would totally tolerate one per season as long as it was always one of the weapon users with a completely new moveset.
My copy of SFV would be gathering dust for an entire year lol
