Damn, that sounds awesome. I really like their opening sequence towards each other in Capcom Vs SNK 2. Rodem basically growls at Bison and Rugal tells him he’s going to take his Psycho Power. In the Japanese version, there was also special unique quotes between teammates, which I wish was in the US version. I can just imagine what a convo between Rugal and Bison would look like.
True, but that mainly goes for characters where they’ve changed a fair amount over the series (Birdie) or can be mentioned with a group of characters (Masters Family). I don’t expect Zangief or Dhalsim to get a bio.
of course this means q is unlikely to be in sfv anytime soon. I hope my girl Makoto gets in there at some point. Vtrigger is obviously the power up rage thing.
TBH it’s weird to assume that if there’s a character that has a CFN website entry then it automatically means they aren’t getting into SFV. Of course we won’t see the likes of Q or Viper this year, but literally any character could get in the rostr in 2017 and beyond. Heck there’s no guarantee they shall remain in their outfits we see them in now
Imho Bengus sketches in story mode give an hint about who we can get in close (S1 dlc) or relatively close (S2) future
C.Viper appear, and that imho mean that they may want add her in S2… from there linking Q to her may be used as link to bring him in SFV
Same for Abel, getting a role in Guile story mode may have a purpose
Wich make sense, if Capcom want some SF4 rep in SFV (and i think they want) Abel and C.Viper are the 2 most generally accepted of the 4 SF4 newcomers, since Rufus and Elf were mostly hated (then audience like way worse chars, but this is another story)

Basically my point is that Capcom will use story to justify in characters they think will please the audience while trying to put in SF3/4 reps
I expect DLCers we still have to see (Juri, Rog, Ibuki, Urien) will hint in theyr story mode more candidates for S2

At least they keep the connotation that Oro may have descendants who are Japanese.
Akuma and Oro are so removed from society that their country of origins have become irrelevant to them.
Gouki’s quotes in Japanese indicate he is more like a vampire instead of a demon.
Demitri Maximof from Darkstalkers is closer to what Akuma could have been and the best equivalent to SNK’s Rugal

Since these files are supposed to be from the perspective of Shadaloo, I wonder if everything in general will be under “Unknown” or “Classified”.
