It actually has a giant pirate ship in it. Her SFA3 stage is her home, and probably Genoa, too. I don’t know where you guys are getting this Venice shit from.

The only reason you could think that is because Joseph met Lisa Lisa in Venice. But Rose is an Expy, of Lisa Lisa, not a fucking clone.

Notice that the crystal sphere start to slowly fall as soon the Soul Power (visible as azure fire) get weaker/“turned off”, great touch

She seem like she’s holding/lifting the opponent, while of course will be impossible for her
The ball is holding mid-air the enemy, and she’s trying to charge it with enough SP to launch him away.
Yet seem to still not have a Rose level of control, so you see that at begin part of the weight (like low gravity?) still reach her, making her legs shaking

PS: SFV got GOAT animations, 3d modellers have high and lows but the animators are great and getting even better in S2

Because we simply know both Genoa and Venice, and therefore know that Genoa has no canals nor gondolas.

This is not Genoa, no matter how much Capcom tries to let us believe it. Unless they clarify that the Genoa of SF world IS Venice, of course.
The only stage that could be actually in Genoa is her SFZ3 stage, being an interior of her mansion.
Her SFZ1 stage was the Colosseum in Rome,

A clear reference to Bruce Lee’s fight against Chuck Norris in Way of the Dragon. So no actual Genoa was ever seen in Rose’s stages…

I agree, which is even more baffling that they did that hideous Cammy air throw.
Wouldnt be surprised if Capcom forced them to rush those new moves out.

There are gondolas in her Alpha 2 stage, you don’t really see those anywhere else outside of Venice. I thought that her Alpha 3 stage (her Genoan palace) had Venetian imagery too, but now that I’ve checked again you can actually only see the palace and a few buildings in the distance. I swore that there was water on the far right of that stage but I guess I was wrong.

That’s correct.
Too bad Capcom felt the need to be specific and explicitly said in SFZ2 that Rose’s stage was Genoa’s port.
The Western SFA2 version only said “Italy”,
