The terrible outfit you speak of is the otaku fanservice reason they forced her in to begin with, ignoring the character design rules of SF that they applied to pretty much any other SF female (or male) character of the saga.
Aside her capcom’s record with SF cast is very solid, you can make a good case for every other SF girl (or male) to be in… well, aside Ingrid maybe lol

That is a quite good set of normals. I’m sold, provided the following two pitfalls are avoided:

[] He being a regular, non intelligent gorilla who communicates in mere growls and chimp noises. Communication and exchanges with other characters would be null and the depth of character would be Twelve levels of fail.

Temptation to make him throw bananas and farts should be stoically avoided and instead he should be an embodiment of raw power, make pride and primal violence. Much better if they err on the side of making him too close to Grodd (unlikely, he doesn’t have to be a telepathic genius) than turning him into Donkey Kong.

I also have a theory about Ed’s Neo-Shadowloo group. I think that all the characters we saw in Ed’s final panel were Shadowloo experiments.
- Ed himself, obviously
- The girl does have the right build to pass for a Doll, maybe she was a lost Apprentice Doll whom Ed found and recruited.
- The gorilla has some kind of enhancement, might be a Shadowloo cybernetics guinea pig.
- The tall guy is hard to get a read on, but maybe he’s some kind of special experiment that isn’t visually obvious? Or, he could be one of the few people left alive who knows the secrets of Shadowloo’s artificial body program and helped Ed develop as quickly and as well as he did.
Just make his theme a remix of this.
If we get Ed/Harambe Godhand references in SF I would be so hyped. I LOVE GODHAND. One of my all time favorite games.

2- As said i will be ok with a bouncing, rolling, more power oriented char… like slighty slower/bigger/stronger than Blanka.
With Ono involved no way they don’t drop in some funny trait imho but i will like if they limit it to win poses, quotes etc
Plus i think if they chosen to add a cyborg/artificial trait to his chara design, he have probably powers/tricks related to it… so maybe not fart/banana (we got Abigail and Birdie for these) but stay ready for some kind of robot shit =)

This one is my favorite. It has the HnK feel, and as a plus, the description for the art mentions that his pads are actually death masks from the former Mad Gear leaders *(the four that come before him I guess). Way better than his current design.
