Maybe. Who knows anymore.

Rose was possessed for a time period between Alpha 2 and SFA3/SF2, and when she woke up from her coma it was during the time of SF2 several months before the beginning of the events of SF4. From a timeline perspective, Rose did not actually participate in the SF2/SFA3 events. Her story came to halt after her encounter with Bison in A1/A2 and then she came back years later in SF4.

I accepted it for being symbolic reference and ED being from an NPC, his symbolic reference are greater than his
original NPC concept so it’s alright rather than pushing ED in that NPC design. Yet his NPC colors are okay glad they retain it, the new design is an improvement for a character that is not intended to be playable and be liked same way like Helen. I was expecting him before to be like a Rock Howard or Bao in KOF interms of being playable if Capcom push harder. Yet I known it is unnatural but Capcom can get away from it since it’s Shadaloo and Cloning with advanced mystic, science and tech.

To be honest I am annoyed by the hat position and why should it match the hair but until I know the character nearest reference of personality it seem okay. The issue was Capcom forcing ED to be playable but at least in a good sense. Hi kinda okay but if he had the Ermac move of lifting. I’m sold to it already.

Outside the box thinking it’s kinda different case if Capcom did the same with Li-Fen by forcing the accelerated aging in a possible way by re-inforcing the story, because her character and the same with Mel of having no connection with those advanced ways but even with connection or made reasonable it still meh because they are symbolic and iconic already by youth and ways in there future timeline even rejecting it is a bad idea.

Accelerated growth that is mentioned or theorized by many and remind by hawkingbird is now quite reasonable and along with Bison haunting ed makes things not complicated and plausible.

if Capcom is smart enough by making Bison so excited with ED’s body that’s why he invested that make it go older fast enough using gene manipulation along with steriods and Balrog training.

While Capcom could used this to explain a latter to failure because it’s a new process in alpha stage discover by Shadaloo.

Capcom could also lead this to a plot that make Shadaloo to research possible way of reverse engineering the process for Bison youth.

This opens more interesting ideas not more complicated bizarre explanation.

Can’t wait to see Ed’s storymode. I really am eager to see what it brings to the table. I just hope it’s not a tease, but it actually builds things up and gives us a taste of things to come (like an idea of what next season will be about, etc).

That’s the voice actor’s name, but I think it was a case of irony rather than them naming the character after him. Kinda like how Snake was named David, but ended up being voiced by David Hayter.

I’m really glad Capcom decided to explore Ed and not just let the plot point fall by the wayside. I was kinda expecting Rog to sell him off to the highest bidder or something, so I’m glad I was off on that. Balrog having a sidekick makes him a much more interesting character as well. He’s still a wild buffalo, but alot more tame.

Balrog working for the Illuminati and Ed being a potential vessel for Bison through which he can take a “glimpse” into the secret society looks like a promising plot line, too.

Based on the above, I’d say Bison still took possession of her. Waking up in front of the Shadaloo base tells me Bison most likely discarded her there once his SF2 body was ready. Not like he’d go through the trouble to drop her off back in Genoa. The wording in the ending seems to imply that he’s keeping her around in case he’ll need to invade her again.

Lol, possibly. Though knowing Bison, he likely no longer cares. The situation would likely have to be extreme for him to invade Rose. She’s probably safe from his antics as long as she stays hidden.

Cody’s Alpha 3 encounter with Bison has to be the most random thing ever.

Bison: “Hmm…What does the former hero of Metro City want with me? If you want to join Shadaloo, show me your strength…”

Cody: “I’m not interested in such petty things. The only thing I want to do is to kick your butt! Prepare yourself…Defeat will soon have a new best friend!”

Bison: “Hmm…I accept your challenge. Let’s see what you’ve got. I wonder if you’ll still be confident in about 10 seconds…”

I know most of the encounters with Bison were random as hell, but for some reason, Cody’s dialogue made me laugh here.

Even when Bison is polite to people in Alpha 3, they still challenge him.

Agree!! This kinda empower his character and make him deserve a bit of respect to know that is not all about money thing. Selling Bison off to the Secret Society doesn’t make him a bad character it’s like the usuals because priority = money to Balrog then now with ED kinda give him a twist. Not bad and not good IMHO.
