@Phantom_Miria I especially want the MVSF character victory speech translated. I always thought that MVSF had the most effort with nearly everything and the character speech are a clear indicator. If I remember CFE paraphrased the character specific quotes from 3rd strike in english/whatever language.

I have Vega/M. Bison quotes from both XVSF and MVSF. At least for this bad guy in particular, there’s nothing too remarkable. Only in MVSF that he seems to have a specific quote to Spider-Man. I’ll see if I can find it. BTW, if you manage to discover how many quotes each character have in MVSF and MVC japanese version please, let me know (XVSF have 16 quotes for all the characters with the exeption of Sabretooth who have 15).

Blanka story
I think it was a wasted opportunity to develop a little bit more about Blanka as a character, not even Samantha made an appearance. Although, it shows Blanka’s effort to earn money for a living and to help his mother. It was fun to see all the 3 “brazilian” street fighters together, but I do wonder… how did Sean changed clothes SO fast? LOL.
It’s interesting to see that Blanka and Sakura’s story, at least to a very tiny degree, ties perfectly with the Side Readers 03, which seems to happen a few weeks/months after Blanka/Sakura’s story. From the side readers, we already know that Blanka-chan will become somewhat popular in Japan.

I’d be down to read a whole novel based around F.A.N.G’s life as an assassin.

All this time I thought he was nothing more than a weirdo grafted to Bison’s dick. Now I can see that he’s so much deeper than that. The poison being presented as something more than just a power he wields is another thing I enjoy. On top of making him more deadly in terms of skill, it’s also removed his humanity. So while he’s unable to generate a hard-on or experience being tipsy, he can recognize inner-strength from someone he barely knows.

I’m glad F.A.N.G will not be a one and done character.

I loved the FANG story! But I cant help but feel like they’re setting up for his replacement because they want to keep the poison mechanic for later but implement it with a more popular(female basically) character since FANG didn’t cut it

Agreed I’d so read more on his life before Shadaloo, during and after. I like when there’s a bit more behind the scenes of a character and I love it when powers have interesting side effects or down sides. It makes a bit more sense for why he’s so into his work if he’s lacking some humanity. Here’s 2 the future!

Definitely not within the near future. As long as Bison/Shadowloo is in people’s minds, FANG has a pretty important role as “guy who could bring Bison back”.
