Pony’s out of stock on Eurosticks? That’s strange. I’m sure you misread, but then again I have only been keeping up with stock of certain buttons. I’d e-mail him if I were you.
Also regarding your issue, does the stick still move in a circle but it’s just clunky?
Yea it still moves in a circle but feels clunky just like you said. Like when I now start playing, for like the first hour or so, it’s fine. But then I start to feel the clunkiness. I’ve had the stick for like almost a year but I’ve only been experiencing this recently. I could have sworn Pony said he was out of sticks but yea I should still email him and try
I’m bulding a custom joystick. On the cherry microswitches can anyone tell me how they are wired. There are 3 connectors (two on side, one on top). What exactly hooks up to what? is the top one the grnd and do I just use one of the side ones or both and which? Help a retard out.
hey guys just wondering if you could help me out. i have a newer MAS stick with a P360 in it and it seems to have a lot of problems with hitting the angles. do i need to break it in? could i try to change the spring? any help would be great, thanks.
All, I stumbled onto a Happ distributor on the BYOAC forum. Gary Thompson. Great guy, good prices and FAST service. I highly recommend him for anybody looking for Happ stuff. I just ordered from him late last week.
If you look at the side of the microswitch, you should see the tabs are labelled NC and NO (normally closed, and normally open respectively.) The NO connection is the one you want for most applications. If you hook it up backward, the operation will be backward, but it wont hurt anything. Hope that helps! feel free to PM me if you need any more help. Do your switches have the markings I speak of? They should have COM (common) in addition to the other two I just mentioned.
This same thing is happening to me, but when I move from left to right. Starting from the center is cool. I have the white/clearish actuator. It almost seems like it gets snagged on the wall…removing the microswitch, it still happens. When I get home, I’ll crack the stick open and see if there might be something going on near the spring and such. I’m working with lizardlick on this, but thought I would branch out to the community to see if they had any thoughts.
The newer P360’s have a common problem of not hitting diagonals correctly. I beleive if you change the actuator this should help (not 100% positive though, I’m sure someone who knows a lot about American sticks will know though)
