All three of the Wal-Marts in Boise are doing the tournaments tomorrow for MvC3. Starts at 10pm, so get there a bit early. I was thinking of hitting up the one on State street and Glenwood. Anyone else want to claim their store? I haven’t checked the Nampa ones or anywhere further out, so outside of Boise, call the local 24 hour superstore, ask for the electronics department and they aught to know about it if they’re doing it.

No information on sticks or system, but I’d expect it to be 360 version (since that’s the prize, a copy for the 360) and I would actually be suprised if they allowed sticks. I’d also expect that the four locked characters won’t be unlocked in time for the tournament, so you might want a team that doesn’t include Da Macheen, Akuma, Hsien Ko, or Taskmaster.

I am interested in MvC3 quite a bit lately. Would be cool to see some old and new faces start showing up. People are going to have to learn how to fight Sent sooner than later, he might be the Vanilla Sagat in this game. Looks like Ammy has mad potential.

Also, I really don’t think Sentinel is all that bad… for now.

I dont see the Twin Falls one being a 24 hour supercenter, but doesn’t hurt to ask. The one in Burley and the one in Jerome both are 24 hours supercenters though.

Sent’s bad juju. Most characters are scary with a level 3 KFC, but Sent can decimate a whole team with one combo for each character before the KFC timer runs out, and that’s not a claim I think anyone else except maybe Hulk could say. Seriously, Sent is hard core scary, especially as an achor.

Burley Walmart is not 24 Hour. Jerome and Twin are, however. I’ll give them a call tomorrow. I’m so up for winning a free copy to… idk. Trade in to Gamestop for my guide?

Anyway, Ammy is fucking awesome. I LOVE the weapon change combos. So much fun. :bgrin:

P.S. Toodles, my stick is randomly pausing. Not often, but like once or twice an hour. I made sure the start button’s qd’s are not being touched by anything else. IDK why it’s doing that.

Man this new forum layout is ass.

Acclaim, plug it into a PS3, set game timer to infinite, start a local versus match, set the stick down and go away for a few hours. Leave it alone, with no physical movement of the stick buttons or cord.

Actually, the Jerome Walmart is no longer 24 hours. When they built the new Walmart in Twin, they stopped having Jerome open for 24 hours. What time would it even be at? I would love a free copy to sell.

Probably going to my local Wal-Mart, saw an ad on the kiosk but I’m calling in anyway, I heard some are cancelling their midnight events around the country, blows. =/

EDIT: SUM BISH! Least store I would have expected to have it started the tournament just 15 minutes before I called in, they said I could come in, they didn’t clarify if I could still enter so I asked, said no.

On a side note, where can I check out some Marvel action from Idaho? You got a youtube channel?

Has anyone else not received their comic with their special edition of MvC3? I am a little disappointed because the comic is supposed to have the codes for the DLC characters.

I haven’t had time to test my stick or go to the store. I think tomorrow I’ll be able to stop by gamestop. I’ll let you know if mine has my comic.
