I had that happen in full bar matches as well. Some of my three bar matches were far better.

Have you guys never played SF4 vanilla? Honestly things like this (excluding the sound bug which is bull shit) happen in games all the time it takes a while to iron out a game to be really solid. I played a year of Vega in SF4 with the wall dive bug where 5% of the time vega would randomly miss the close wall for no reason and i would sit there for 34 frames and eat full screen ultras and supers. I had a throw animation bug out and random take me across the screen while playing rahim, but it was no big deal really. Also online is online it would be nice to have the sound but take it as an opportunity to learn to play in tournament conditions and throw on some music.

It’s online. Personally, I feel SFxT is better online than SF4 because of how input delay is handled. I feel like I’m much more in control of the match and what I’m doing, and much more able to react to shit online in it. Those of you that live in Boise/Nampa can’t complain about online that much, in my opinion. You have a lot of local competition you could train up and practice with. I for one haven’t received a single text from any of you saying you want to play SFxT. If you want to get better at it, put some effort into it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Cool tommorow you come by and we play SfxT then Rahim? I’ll be home anytime after 6

\

I played SF4 vanilla online. There wasn’t a rollback style netcode, so I didn’t once experience the game jumping around from state to state. Normally if it got that bad it just crashed. Nonetheless it’s not an issue, what surprised me was how FEW players online were available, especially for a new game that Capcom marketed heavily, but then again I remember crazy wait times for SF4 matches as well so I shouldn’t be TOO surprised.

So wish I was closer to said local competition.

Done. I have your number. I’ll text you for directions around then.

How far do you live from Boise? o.O

So…you can play your music library during game play, gonna download Tekken Tag 2 OST.
(I always wanted SFxT to be able to switch the background music to a “fixed” soundtrack, made out of medleys of the best music in SF and Tekken)

edit: may only be PS3, dunno what you can do with a 360.

An hour away.

You in Boise? We can carpool. I know the way to Brian’s, and I been practicing. >;D

Tibbs! Of course I’m in Boise. :stuck_out_tongue: I’d love to carpool. Hit me up when you get a chance: 208-371-4925

Damn. That’s a tad bit far. No one you can carpool with? :frowning:

You aint know? Goatrix is the carpool

It’s not horrible, but with gas on the rise it makes meeting up outside of the weekend events a little more costly. Still, I really do want to get better at this game, hell the stuff you brought up on Sat alone was a big help.

So true.

So all that being said, what time are you guys playing tonight because I would like to get in some more games or even just get some advice/pointers/etc… I have terrible offense in 2-D fighters and any help I can get would be appreciated.

Class starts after 6 my man. Everybody welcome of course.

Yo, I missed this weekend, couldn’t get out of work early enough. I can swing by tonight at 9 when i get off if that’s cool with you.

David and I will most likely be making it down for the 17th. Again, however, weather is a factor.

I actually have class tonight until six. ><

If you guys want to get there at 6, Cody can pick Rahim up, and I’ll meet you there at 7. Or, if you don’t mind waiting, I can drive Rahim and Cody can go straight through to Brian’s. I’m down with either option, and you guys both have my number. Let me know. Also, Rahim: Get Ian to come out!

PS: Played with Churro online last night/this morning. Turns out I need to practice more (C-C-C-COMBO DROPPER), and I need to find a good anti-air with Kaz and Nina. Also, some safe block strings for Kaz–I ate a lot of punishment after he blocked Slaughter Hook.

Lol, I’m going straight to Brian’s tonight.

Yeah, Slaughter Hook L is way punishable.

Yeah guys anytime after 6 is good. Everybody is welcome here. Bring your own chair cuz my broke ghetto ass ain’t got none. And extra setups would be nice

I’ll most likely be available, in that case, I’ll bring a few chairs.

I’ll take care of the food and drinks too. My girl gonna make some of them easy tacos for ya’ll. Don’t worry Mr. Tibbsters we get somethin for you!
