how many chapters does the HH manga have? i really liked the anime so i figure checking out the manga couldnt hurt.
I read scanlations mostly, have they released Vol. 26 in Japan yet? If so I hope NexGen are still scanlating it.
Vol 26 comes out when the new chapters start(October 6th)
Pretty much thatās his schedule. They release a new volume, he submits a volume of material for the magazine
I see, so itās pretty likely that itāll go on a break again. Iām all caught up now, I just hope he can finish this arc(as good as it isā¦) in the next vol or two. As for the narrative itās taken, I think it fits for this event, Iām sure itāll go back to normal after Itās all over.
Iām hoping thereās a time skip, or at least some considerable growing up for Gon & Killua. At this rate, theyāll be stronger than Netero by age 13 :lol: Either way, this manga puts other shounen to shame.

Togashi isnāt lazy, he is ill. Though the recent chapters had some very good art in them not like his older ones.

Dunno bout ādeath bedā though I find that a very insulting comment on the guy. At least he doesnāt take 6 month breaks between chapters like a certain mangaka
no he takes years off. and death bed isnt insulting considering how good he draws and then he started drawing like he was 5 years oldā¦you donāt change that drastically unless something is seriously wrong.
i mean even oh-great let his assistants take over tenjou tengeā¦art suffered but no where near hunter x hunter did.
Either heās really sick, or has some other personal problems going on or just straight up lazy(doubt its the latter). AFAIK nothing has really been mentioned after that sick leave so yeah.
Some of the chapters were straight up doodles, doodles which managed to be more entertaining than any other currently running series of the shounen demographic . The art is back on track, well it has been for a while now.
I believe a reason Togashi doesnāt hire any assistants to draw in his stead is prob. because only he can draw out how stuff should progress in a chapter.
he is lazy, he laughs about it and everyone knows it. enjoy your 2 chapters decade.
Stop being an asshole, if anything heās probably taking these breaks to think up better ways to tie in and advance the story.
ā¦and really though I donāt care much for these breaks its not like this is the ONE manga I dedicate my reading time to

Togashi doesnāt use assistants because shonen jump editors fucked around with his last manga (Yuyu) and messed it up, so his terms now are basically he can do what he wants.

[details=Spoiler] Killua is fast as shit, canāt wait to see how those other āexperimentalā moves he came up with actually work. It was astounding seeing Yupi in utter despair, raw power certainly isnāt the end of all things. I love how complex the technique/nen/fighting world in HxH is, definitely the best in any shounen Iāve ever read.
Now Iām wondering how Gon plans on taking on Pitou. That whole scene with Pitou trying his best to protect Komugi was amazingly well done. One of the most moving scenes for sure. You could really feel Gonās sheer anger and Pitouās helplessness.
