I feel bad, I donāt like the chimera arc. On the anime I finally got to the part where the Queen shows the eggs layed for the royal squad, but Iāve got no inspiration to keep watching.
There were some good moments in the arc, but not manyā¦pretty much the last fight is it for āmeāā¦and I donāt think Netflix has that far.
Side comment, so this morning Iām prepping food for dinner, I cut up a chipotle pepper. Never have used one before and didnāt know how good they smelled. So I wash my hands afterwards and go to work. However the smell got under my nails. so Iām making coffee at work and smell my fingersā¦I INSTANTLY have this face and start laughing out loud when I recognize itā¦

Just started watching this. Came across it before but kinda ignored it. So gatlike. Only episode 35 so far. Went on a huge binge, Sunday chillin after gym and didnāt feel like doing shit.

Dammit. Most people say to watch 2011 version. I already started on 1999 and at episode 51.
Nothing wrong with watching the original series before watching the reboot. But if I were you I really would have started with 2011. It was better in almost every way.
Yeahā¦ I searched ā1999 vs 2011ā and about 99% of the posts said start with 2011, or watch the first 3 episodes of 1999 and then 2011.
Finished 1999 yesterday. I watched way too many, it wasnāt even a week. I guess working from home is to blame.

I just finished HxH 2011 2 weeks ago. I was on a One Piece obsession before I started watching this and now I canāt get HxH out of my head. I donāt really care about the stereotypes of shounen anime, but was really surprised and happy that they didnāt sugarcoat the series with āpower of friendship and loveā bullshit that you constantly see in Naruto. And I also LOVE how they hardly held anything back related to gore and fights. And to top it off, this is probably the second most coherent story in anime Iāve ever experienced (First has to be FMAB in my book).
10/10 overall rating. I love it so much, Iām watching the 1999 version and THEN going to rewatch the 2011 version again. 1999 version isnāt that bad actually, including the dub. I kinda want to restrain myself from reading chapters after the Chairman Election arc until Togashi comes back. Iāll probably give in some time but Iām gonna at least try to build up hype for myself.
With that being said, LEORIO IS MY NIGGA! That Nen punch to Ging got me off my seat! Definitely came back with a bang and it seems like him and Kurapika are center stage for this Dark Continent arc (if Togashi ever comes back from Hiatus smh). Oh and Iām loving the Zodiacs, specifically Cheadle, Pariston, and that Snake woman. Ging too of course. Iām dying to see how strong these Zodiacs are. I have so many questions that needs to be answered now. This series is just fantastic! Gonna have to change my pic to rep Leorio lol.
Meh, it may not be predicated on āFnJā like Naruto, but it IS a huge factor (1) and it still seems based largely on āhardworkā and ātalentā - just like Naruto. I think it just does the best job of getting around power creep via experience and flexibility of powers. The necessary rules and what have you, it all balances it self out.
Series still has āSasukeā though - the last of his kind out for revenge with red oculars that make him brokenā¦

in that time they had to develop the other characters so he fought about right
with that said i do hope that he comes back even stronger in the later issues
such a sacrifice and ordeal he went through should make him even stronger when he gets his strength back
Well my interpretation of everything that has happened with him - puts him in a place where he can develop a completely new power detached from his old one. Heck, it might lead to him becoming a Specialist along with reinforcement.
With Naruto ending, I need HxH to come backā¦its going to magnify when Bleach āfinallyā ends.
