I’m leaning on doing a couple ranbats, then set something up huge if t9 doesn’t happen.
Depending on the status of t9, I’m leaning on hosting it in brockville on console with the two cabinet support to replace t9 in mid july; or I’ll wait for t9 to happen.
I’m not willing to run/organize anything bigger than single game ranbats otherwise. I’m planning on Battle for Bus Fare and EVO and the potential T9 and MAT if they should happen. If t9 or MAT doens’t happen I’ll host/organize/invest in a big tournament.
In other news I seriously think a gigantic XvSF Ranbat would pay off huge. 2 new machines popping up. Gonq and a wealth of new players at the arcade; Narith still being in Ottawa currently; huge debate as to who the top player is: Is it Contra with his learnings from West Coast Xmen? Is it MKP; the winner of the CC? Is it 1HC who’s out of practice but knows MKP better than anyone? Is it Narith the undebated Master? Or… Is it Aznretro? Fuck even Wayne beats Narith on a semi regular basis.
A good 4-6 new enthusiastic players with a levelled up Thanh and Robert from the CAVE. Elliot and Andrew and Mark coming out of the woodwork that is Algonquin College. Arun my favourite 3s player doing 3s style footsies in Xmen? Pat’s retired but has been showing up repeatedly. CB 80 win streak at B5 hopefully representing us at EVO this year. Ahmed: SUCCESS! or should I say BIRDIE! RAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWW! SLIIIIIIIIIIICE!
I’m seriously apologizing to any XvSF players with skill I’m forgetting there’s so many players and I have no idea who they all and how they measure up to each other. RANBAT is definitely on my order of things.
I could advertise this all over with posters and bring REAL fucking HYPE.

It’s not N+, it’s not Ikaruga, it’s not Prince of Persia or Battle Toads, and nothing close to ecco but for all the N lovers, this struck me as highly entertaining:

Ryad I didn’t find anything about N+ coming to PC. However I realized that there is a download version of N (here). Also, N+ is coming to both DS and PSP! I’ll probably play the PSP version for the larger screen.

I gave up on that game the first time i played it.Its fucked up!Really fucked up.They clearly do not want you to finish!
I got to level 5 with 3 deaths (2 of which were from the snake stage).
Fucking annoying. But I got bored on the 5th level. I died right before beating the level and said fuck going back to my last save point (2 whole moves, but fuck I’m lazy).
Seriously, Jon’s puzzle was more fun than that game.
