That shit was funny. I’m pretty sure I know who that is based on feel but I’ll keep it down and let emotion direct blame discussion ala T8 (wonder if I’ll be condemned immediately again…holy shit…).
Where’s Viet_Bomb damnit! I will never forget that Tails picture joke…oh my god
Oh shit…wow did I do well to miss that…
That’s a pretty funny response. Doesn’t seem happy about the fact he has to shut the fuck up about it.
There’s a lot more on this btw. Deusberg pointed out the holes that allowed for everything to be thrown in the pile but there’s many other apparant streams (like a virus).
I’ll be down for some 3s later tongith around 8-9pm
good times @ clocktower last night.
too bad those videos don’t work khiem, i was starting to get interested but they all quit 10 minutes in. o well, I’ll read the papers.
but ya, 3s anyone else wanna play?
I want to come by and get some work done. But if you are not getting up until 6 pm then forget it. The latest i want to start is like 11 am, not PM,am, you know when the sun is out, daytime.
On a more serious note,
I think AIDS denial is kinda ridiculous, Khiem.
Duesberg was challenged to infect himself (by Dr. Robert Gallo, the co-discoverer of HIV) with HIV and pussied out (claiming he’d need to seek approval from regulatory agencies.)
Also the very positing of a recreational drug use / stress hypothesis is kinda borne off old research (you know, when AIDS was supposed to be a gay/black disease.)
@Ran:
I’m up early yo, I’ll try to get Dee in this time zone.
Dr. Gallo is a joke. I mean his work is pretty standard government drone shit and you should find out why he’s the “co-discoverer” of HIV…he’s a fraud.
Deusberg theory was was on cosntant and progressive immune damage. Drugs were used as a North American example because they destroy your immune system, drug use was rampant and the growth coincided with the HIV infections (which he believed where signs of a depleting immune system), unlike AIDS patients (which have had a near straight line rate since the beginning).
Seriously, you should look way more into this - if you’re open to it. This isn’t some random idea from a few people (like propaganda sites constantly suggest - you have to love the constant slander as a means for defense…). There are thousands of people in the field who have put out incredible information about this. From Nobel Prize winning scientists to governemnt AIDS campaign workers.
You can’t simply dismiss an entire piece of work due to some discrepencies. Not only is that essentially negating everything, but the facts that were used to lead to a theory are still facts. Deusberg was pretty much the world leading retrovirologist until he stated that Gallo’s work was fraudulant. He threw away an entire career due to his stance of what he believed to be true. I will take his words with MUCH more weight than an FDA drone.
Those links alone shed some light but the big picture is much more complex. Personally, Deusberg’s theory had some ground (and considering the definition of AIDS, very well could be a part of it) but the majority of scientists who speak out about this have much more insight in regards to possibilities.
The US governments claim and stance on the issue is laughable… just the simple logic behind the absolution of antibody test->toxic drugs and the ridiculous definition of AIDS is beyond sketchy.
here’s what i know: my friends with HIV died. my friends without HIV did not. my friends with HIV that got on the new drug regimens after
’96 are still alive. my friends that did not are dead.
it comes down to a bad case of who you gonna believe: HIV denialists or your own lying eyes?

I also think that the power of other STDs and malaira and TB and all that to the immune system shouldn’t be taken lightly. combine that with drug use or malnutrition or starvation and GGPO.
I wonder what the differnece in life expectancy of an impoverished person with malnutrition and HIV and one with HIV is? probably a pretty substantial differece…
i love my webcam!:lovin:
That’s deep. He’s totally correct. Which is why logic and intuition are all you can go by - don’t use your eyes (dear GOD) but your brain and your mind.
Khiem, I’m telling you, keep looking - there’s more to look into about HIV=AIDS. I know you can understand the literature out there pretty well - compare everything you can and remember the answer somewhere in the middle between the two sides.
Totally. There are soooo many factors…in the end we are looking at immune deficiency and how it comes to this. What we do know is that everything gets wrapped up into a billion dollar package of HIV=AIDS for horrible reasons.
While I hold absolutely no illusions that AIDS has not been tremendously politicized, I am dubious as to why, for instance, Duesberg would not prove himself correct?
And why, specifically, is Gallo a fraud?
I don’t dispute that a lot of AIDS treatment may in fact be considerably less effective than accredited (not to mince words or anything.) But honestly given that my field specialty is not in the natural sciences I’m just going to read a bunch, cock an eyebrow and inquire as to what some would-be-Doctors I know think about it.
