I hate War Beast. Fuck him. I tried really hard to make him buff, but he still couldn’t kill anything and was kinda underwhelming. After early game, when his summons get useless, he’s pretty much useless until he gets ridiculous items. Just good items aren’t enough. I stacked over 300 damage on him (and near 3K HP) and still couldn’t do anything. His ultimate powers him up but it only lasts 15 seconds and the only really good thing is the 522 move speed. If the weak critical was a bash instead, he’d be better, and if his Battle Cry gave a percentage of damage.
He’s still not as underpowered as Dark Lady. At least War Beast doesn’t need mana for everything and doesn’t die in 2 hits.
I need to stop being horrible. I wish I could just play pharaoh all day everyday.
War Beast’s wolves/hellhounds should not give exp/gold (they don’t in DOTA). If that were the case, he’d be able to spam them and get more lane control/farm easier, allowing him to be more effective early and mid game. War Beast/Lycan is a decent tank carry and a good ganker, but in team battles he ends up being somewhat worthless.
That’s exactly what I mean. His DPS, even with Ultimate on is still not enough to warrant enemy attention until he’s chasing someone down at the end. I don’t agree with the Hellhounds not giving gold, though, there should be a reward for killing them or else he’s too good early game and still underwhelming mid/late.

It would actually help heroes like War Beast if it was buffed a bit, too.
If any of you are concerned with stats, you’re wasting precious emotions.
Stats don’t mean shit for various reasons, for example:

Stats are gonna to get wiped after beta

People can partner up with a friend and farm them in 1v1 games to boost stats

There’s no way to track where a player’s stats even came from! A DotA vet can go into sissy little 5v5 -em HoN games and soak up kills for stat padding.

Kills should not be looked at because some people love to play characters that kill steal (Zeus/Thunderbringer), so they will join nothing but -ap and kill steal with Thunder’s ult

I only HON hero I enjoy using atm is Nymphora; even though she dies in a few hits.
I need to get better with more heroes. The only ones in HoN I’m comfortable with are Pestilence/Slither (Slardar/Venom). I haven’t touched the new heroes except for Electrician once.
In DOTA I liked Necrolyte, Leshrac, and Jah’rakal. Have any of them been ported over to HoN?

in other news, predator is still amazing, in a 5v4 game (we had the 4) i tore it up with a record of 17-4-7, steamboots, insanitarium, shieldbreaker, vlads and going for MKB
mages were destroyed in 4 hits easy

I need to stop playing random pubs and play with SRK clan. I’m so fucking sick of losing. My last match my team would never try to push or try to stop the others from pushing us. I would be pinging the map like crazy and they would come like 2 min later. And then when I get kills with scout I get berated and called useless and a pker. Uhhhh I’m the freaking scout. I disappear and appear to kill the weakest people.
