In early game, it seems easy for techies to prevent melee heroes from denying. Placing mines in the spot of their creeps sends good damage then there is suicide. The thing is, techies’ mines take so much mana at early game, i think you can only plant a maximum of 3 mines around lvl 1- 5. If techies can place more than 3 mines w/o having his mana go down, it’ll be easy to lvl up faster than your opponents.
I also think techies is one of the hardest to deny with due to his attack speed, it’s too slow and some times it seems it misses or the damage was that poor. I don’t like using techies.
I don’t know how to use involker yet, i used him 3 times and i didn’t know what the hell to do with him; my score was that bad.
Dunno, go basher + tread? Huskar is one of the best 1 v 1 chars in the game. I only have an easy time vs him 1 v 1 if I’m either Troll, Ursa, or Spiritbreaker.
It’s pretty hard, depends on the situation, the items, the levels…
Make him waste vitality, then come back and fight him ? If we’re talking about ridiculous imba builds there, then Magina would probably have treads, a butterfly, buriza, two bashers and a cuirass.
Well actually I have owned a 24 Huskar 1v1 with 25 Rhasta with a heart and a satanic without getting touched, but I had eul’s, Aghanim’s AND a refresher. Open with sheep, drop serpent wards, net, eul’s, refresh, drop MORE serpent wards, sheep, net, lightning and he was dead. Took just about all my mana, my Refresher cooldown and two ulti’s tho. Two improved mass serpent wards burn shit down QUICK, lol.
Yah he didn’t have BKB. I was pretty much the only caster in my group. We had Clinkz, me, Centaur, Nevermore and Furion. It was an AREM pug game, but it was still pretty funny.
Let’s get some more games on tonight Desi, last night’s game was whack. I did a lot worse with Tinker than I normally do, even for a TDA game I did pretty bad. I think I started out ok, lilke 4-2 or whatever but towards the end I kept running into the wrong pack. That slardar was hella fed tho and our Omni sucked ass. Not getting Repel till lvl 14 = EPIC FAIL.
Wrong, most league/tourney games usually last only 30-40 minutes. With heavy ganking and lane pushing, realistically you don’t see a regular draft (tourney/clan match) game go beyond 30-40 minutes. So if you get beyond mjollnir, bottle, wraithbands, treads in 30 minutes in a non em game, you must be some God getting every creep kill on every lane.
In em, I wouldn’t even bother with wraith bands or the early tier 1 items because you can get away with not having items in the beginning and straight farm to tier3/tier4.
The dynamics of a tournament game is so much different than a typical em pubstomp, TDA, or even DXD.
These type of games focus on 1v1 pub allstar type heroes (Late game agil/strength heroes that do high damage) rather than heroes with a solid disable/AOE (SK/Leshrac/Zeus/Warlock etc…)
A pubstomp EM priestess will probably have, mjollnir, eye, or w/e combination of tier 4 items you can get. It honestly doesn’t matter with the millions of gold you get from being able to farm freely and getting double the gold per second.
In league, because you’ll be helping out your teammates with ganks more, not be able to farm as freely, or get 2354235235 gold/sec due to it being em, you will rarely get or the tier 4 damage items with potm. In fact, it’s not that important with her anyway to do damage. She sets up ganks, does high damage early on, and rarely dies. This is why she is so great.
Watch some MYM replays and you’ll know what I’m talking about.
Sobi is almost entirely useless on Tink early game. His int isn’t high enough for 50% mana regen to make a difference. Much better to get a bottle, beef up on stats with branches, and save for a void, then get travels, then get whatever. Bottle because Tinker is one of the best early game gankers in the game. Once you have travels, it’s pretty much infinite farm. Also, most of the time it isn’t worth getting refresh until you get your travels.
most dxd games i play aren’t using pub heroes. Usually there are 3-4 good solid picks.
Though i agree with most games lasting 30-40 minutes.
There are various strategies as well, as some teams will take a risk, pick some heavy late game agi and try to extend the game till agi dominates.
Also, who’s idea was it to stack mym with good players…
yah i know wut you mean, im going to use spectre as an example, i use her on 80% percent on my games. I usually look at the hp of the creep, not when their bar goes red, cuz it’s easier to time the deny. After i a-click on a creep lets say with 60 dmg, she attacks just a lil bit more than 1/2 a second later.
Also don’t attack the opponents creeps let ur own creeps attack(well if you want to attack creeps go ahead, for me it’s easier to watch the creeps hp this way), and all u do is hold alt and keep right clicking near the creep thats about to die, then i let go of alt and a-click on the 60-hp creep.
Looking at the creeps actual HP will slow you down, and is just generally not a good idea. You have to learn HP bars. That way you can see every creep, and if creep positions shift and your wave starts focusing a different creep, you don’t get screwed.
