11-3 AM Eastern or Pacific time? If I have work the following morning (I work opening shifts), I don’t usually stay up past 11 Pacific time. 
I do pubs too only b/c i don’t wanna wait 20 minutes for a match. >_<

The only thing I hate with pugs are the retards, noobs, and leavers that often plague a game. Banlist can only do so much when there are so many players. One time I played something like 3-4 five minute games in a row because assholes were leavers. Hell, one fucking time I made someone leave in five minutes while solo laning them because I kept denying creeps.
Ugh… sometimes I wish I could punch leavers in the face.
lol~ The other day I played with the worst Darkterror I’ve ever seen… which I thought wasn’t possible not to own with DT late game. Our Furion drops early game and the DT takes ALL of his items, not even offering to share. I was Rexxar and needed boots badly because I repicked and needed gold, and even called him out on ninja’ing all the items and not offering to share or even team sell. Later on he buys a basher, which makes sense, but doesn’t ever buy treads, uses the Furion’s Ring of Basilus (or however it’s spelled) THE ENTIRE GAME, ends up buying a Buriza and a Radiance and never once buys a BFly or any kind of AS item. Oh yeah, he later goes AFK for a good 10-15 mins or so instead of leaving (at this point in the game it was 3v3). Honestly, I don’t even know how we won that game with such a bad DT that ended up going 6 for 9. And, best of all, he has the gall to say at the end “I owned.” Needless to say… he was BANNED.

and yea pubs are pretty fast gathering until the early mornings :{ i usually only play in “PROZ” pubs because the game is generally more decent… but they sometimes take a lot longer to get together.
ill play noob ones too every now and then just so i can play pudgey

I’ve actually been getting better and better with Sniper. The first thing I buy now is a courier, then after I get 500 gold (usually within the first minute or two of creeps) I get boots of speed, then I just get Lothar’s and save for butterfly. After butterfly it’s crystalis. Sniper is pretty fun to play now that I have windwalk, so I don’t have to play in perpetual fear, lol.
Any tips/comments on my buying strat? Also, does anyone know what deny means? Does denying a tower mean you kill your own tower so the enemies don’t get any money from it?
And how does the creeps work? The more towers you kill, the stronger your creeps get? I don’t get it…
And one last thing, is it worth getting a hyperstone? Does it stack with butterfly?

IIRC, creepwaves get bigger as the game progresses. Also, your own creeps get stronger once you destroy the other teams barracks. And I think the more towers you destroy, the more enemy creeps appear in that specific lane.
Denying is what you think it is: killing an enemy tower/creep so that the other team doesn’t get money/experience from it. Type -showdeny (or with a space… I forget) or -di (displays killing creep blows and denies at the top of your scoreboard). If you see either of these commands, you’ll see a “!” instead of gold when a creep is denied.
hyperstone does stack… and if you are against some strength chars dont rule out a Deso
So after I get butterfly, should I go with a Hyperstone next with my Sniper or go right for Crystalis like I’ve started doing? Cuz I imagine with a hyperstone and butterfly I should be doing some Uzi shit with sniper, and with like 40-50% chance to “sniper bash” it might be very effective.
Also, does assasinate ALWAYS do the same set damage? Is there any way to make it stronger? Cuz when everyone’s like lvl 20 and up assasinate barely hurts people… 600 HP reduced by armor (which everyone seems to have a lot of late) isn’t too great a hit…

Hero’s with mana shields or any item that shields mana damage owns up sniper’s ult unfortunately (it counts as a magic attack)
Straight up though assassinate damage is like this:
LvL1 = 260 - 245 (its in that damage range after hero reduction)
LvL2 = 390 - 375
LvL3 = 475 - 495
I’ve never seen assassinate kill someone over 500 hp at level 3 eventhough its suppose to do like 605 or 650 or some shit.
Also dont buy hyperstone on sniper, its a waste. You’ve got the big items right though.
I usually end game with BoT, Mjollnir, Buriza, Butterfly x2, MKB
Why not switch the second butterfly for a cuirass? Now that hyperstone has a recipe, and a good survival/attack speed one, it’s x10000 more useful.
I’ve thought about it but I still think Bfly x2 is better. The IAS from a butterfly is roughly the same as a cuirass. The only thing it lacks is the armor obviously but you still get some of that + damage from the butterfly. I guess it all evens out.
On paper I would say the cuirass is better, but in game when you’ve got all those other items, no ones getting close to you without losing a huge chunk of life, and even when they do, your mjollnir defence lightning kicks in adding even more damage and forcing them to run. By then if theyre stupid (which 95% of all dota players are) they’ll be picked off by assassinate easily.

So butterfly x2 is actually worth it? I was considering it, cuz that one time that I had it, a pudge 3 levels above me tried to rush me and I took his ass to less than half before he even got close. He missed with the hook, ran at me, lost most of his life, and tried to run so I finished him with assasinate.
