Okay, we have a character that has an awesome as fuck Ult (which I’ll admit is pretty awesome). Aside from that, Kraken is … I’d very much rather have a character that’s useful for other than just their Ult.

With both his leap and gush, it’s pretty damn hard to get away from him. Some people like OG Tide from DotA more because of his ability to dismantle a lot of non-magic heroes, but you can honestly argue the value of both heroes.

Only Kraken’s ult ports enemy heroes. I suppose you could toss someone with Pebbles, but that’s only 1. Kraken can port an entire enemy team right into your tower/team ults. It’s very situational, but in competitive play I bet you’d see it get done a few times.

That said, I still like Tidehunter better.

You can always port 1-2 heroes back to your team, kill them, and easily have the 5v3 or 5v4 advantage while pushing. Also, the other team pushing your base? Blink in with ult up back into the well and have some stun heroes go crazy. That push just peaced out. Just need to coordinate with your allies or an ult can go bad.

Also they really really really need to fix Arachna. I was on a hilariously long losing streak until I played SD with pballa and got Arachna. Needless to say we raped them so hard. She’s on like the top of the list for nerfs imo.
