The Homeland (TV) Thread

Quinn going rogue was the only good thing about this fucking episode smfh. Lets review, Taliban score a flawless tactical and strategic victory against the US, they fucking kill the lovely Fara, they let John job off screen, they nearly let Dennis go out with a bit of dignity then just make him 100% bitch made.

We got Carrie and Sol survive an rpg attack and a sniper/assault that nearly wipe out all the heavily armed marines lol, btw wouldnt the sniper take out a station chief cause you know high value target? Smfh.

Yea you go Pete, you go and save this sorry ass show solo buddy, looking forward to the GTAV torture scene.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

My sweet baby Fara, really? Damn them for dangling her life on a thread, the offing her at the last second. Sweet sweet Fara.

And now the only other tertiary character worth a damn is on a suicide mission.

Glasses dude is probably going go all Harvey Dent next season on some Two Face/ Ezekiel Rage type ish. Feel your pain buddy.

Yea Max, was hoping he was gonna take Faras place, damnit am so pissed they took out Fara like the rage is still real.

Also the president gives a direct order for Carrie to come home and stop fucking up, nope Lockhart gives in and lets her go awol as well, punk ass bitch.

So we got Pete going on Bauer mission and definately we got Carrie gonna go and shack up with Col Bing Bing to take out the ISI chick. The real question is, now that Fara is dead, does any of this shit matter?

You right,Quinn going rogue is the only good thing that came out of this fuck up.I think Lockhart is some soft baby shit he should have held out and not give him the list.

I don’t know why people are surprised about Lockhart considering how he has been portrayed throughout the seasons, he isn’t some hardened vet, just a power hungry politician that would sell his own grandmother for a higher status.

Gutted about Faras

First and last time I will probably say this but im looking forward to seeing some torture

Did M Night Shyamalan write this script FFS

Yeah wtf was that? Next thing you know the season finale will reveal the NWO and their plot for world domination.

Peter Quinn aka Jack Bauer-lite did work though. Even getting himself a loyal fraulein.

And I really hate to admit this, but Carrie’s baby looked like the sad result of her drinking and smoking while pregnant. Not cute at all. The casting did a good job of finding a baby that looks like both the parents though.

ARGH!!! CARRIE IS A PIECE OF SHIT KILL HER ALREADY!

My nigga Quinn give in to his soft side, he should have smoked her, bitch ruining great plans, also US black ops in bed with terrorists lol. Carrie fucked up before the damn and after it dumb piece of shit fucking the hate is too real.

Dar Adal actually pulled a mozart lol, I accidently called this shit in the thread a month ago. Carrie giving excuses to punch fuck out woman for free at this rate.

The rage is real…

Funny how fan predictions are coming true, last season there was speculation that he was the one behind the CIA bombing and framing of Brody.

K ive calmed down now and I still cant objectively piece together wtf happened at the end of that last episode. Dar Adal being behind everything still doesnt make sense. If he was behind a conspiracy to destroy the CIA then it would be contrary to him helping Saul rebuild it in the first place, also he is directly responsible for Peter Quinns involvement in all story arcs.

Also him being some kind of shadowy handler for Brody really doesnt cut it either since Brody was flip floping around between honest victim and brainwashed radicalised saboteur. It would however explain why he was delievered to Caracas (a friend took him there, was believed to be Carrie but Saul had to pay a huge ransom). Then he got hung over relatively nothing so bringing into play and indeed his whole detainment doesnt really make any sense if Adal was behind it. So the point is moot.

Also him being in the SUV at the end, wtf? He is the ranking agent in the CIA unless something changed between then and Saul first departure to Pakistan, wouldnt he have a flunky for that meet and greet shit? Hell of a risk to be seen with the most wanted man in the world. Maybe he just took Sauls advice and actually went into the private sector and is working for that jew arabian gold. Also given the opertunity Quinn and indeed the US government has at easily being able to kill Haqqani, I dont think that any conspiracy would go higher than the characters we already know about.

This show is just plumpetting to death with the shittiest writing imaginable for me, S1 and S2 were amazing, S3 was meh and S4 has basically devolved me into a caveman, I would be really scared if I met Clare Danes in real life I might lose my shit.

Its been suggested that Dal Adar has been shady for a while. Its not out of nowhere. Also to think theyd have Quinn blow up the whole block was a bit foolish ecasue we want him as a sympathetic character not someone whod blow up the student protestors. I didnt think the episode was that bad, a bit of a tease, but after the previous two eps being completely gripping I cant really complain.

Finale was a complete waste of time, theres literally about 5 minutes in total worth watching. Horrendous end to the season. Why the writers thought delving into Claire’s mummy issues would be the best way to wrap up the season is beyond me. I want my hour back.

Am kinda okish with this ending, if not only to clear Dar Adal. Guy makes a deal to get Saul back into play, maybe hes really trying to get the CIA back up or maybe its so he can blackmail the director further down the line, who knows who honestly cares but Adal is legit so thats good. Also there is…

  • Armstrong is defo on suicide watch
  • Can call ISI Chick Tasmin now, and yea would still wreck
  • Quinn needs to catch a bullet, instead of picking up on those sexy Carries sister vibes, he gets a kiss n dumped then bitchmakes his way back into black ops
  • Saul is a shallow piece of shit whos ready to pick up that divorce just so he can get his old job back and not even get to do what he wants the job back for

Replacing Carries dad with her mum was kinda pointless, cause its more distracting and ultimately needless bullshit, it was nice to see Adal tell her to fuck off at the end its damn time that somebody tells her no and sticks by his guns. S4 created too much salt for me so if this travesty of a show gets picked up for S5 am looking forward to Quinn getting jobbed offscreen in Syria, Carrie having an unrecoverable mental breakdown, Saul joining Armstrong at the end of a rope (or a belt hur hur) and Dar and Tasmin riding off together into the sunset.

The finale wasn’t horrible… if this show wasn’t about the CIA and all the subterfuge therein. I really didn’t want a finale about Carrie x Quinn and family melodrama. Saul’s 180 back in seems weak, his capture would’ve been more of a reason to stay put. He got a year salary and his wife back, and now he wants to join the CIA again to do what? Spread peace and love like he’s successfully done the last 40 years? Fuck outta here.

Bipolar mom is just a setup for some family crap this series never needed, esp. since Brody is gone.

I expected Quinn to die this season, but based on his fucktarded decisions he might as well be dead. Overall, this season made some promising setups to something really meaningful but came up short, esp. since my sweet baby Farah is now gone. Like I said before, they should’ve really ended it last season. They ended strong.

And yeah, that Tasmin chick was fine.

I’m mad because after last week’s episode my expectation was that they were building up to some epic finale, more dark revelations about the CIA, Dar Adal being some sort of antihero. But instead the whole cliff hanger gets wrapped up in about 5 minutes of dialog, the rest of the episode we’re just following Claire around dealing with her father’s death and her mother re-entering her life.
Also regarding Quinn, I thought Dar Adal had set up the mission to off him, but nope.

They raise that tension up so much you can cut it with a knife then just say naw and give everybody a completely sterile and happy ending. Need to come up with ideas to save this show guys, like Carries sister is secretly the female version of the Punisher and goes to pakistan to kill Tasmin after a 40min lesbian sex scene between the two and 2 mins of action.

Or Brodys Ghost fighting Osama Bin Laden and the legions of hell on the moon. Guess whos done with this show?

Finished S4 yesterday.

Farrah… sweet, sweet Farah. :’(

Spoiler

Tasneem tho… B)

Lifted this bullshit from some TV site.

How much you think it would cost to hire ISIS to kill a few people? Cause its getting to the point where I might actually find a use for my emergency credit card. I took the liberty to bold the parts that are either complete lies or utterly bullshit.

Anyone watching the current season?
So producers of Homeland hired some graffiti artists to help with the set design, things got interesting.
