Peter sucked at first, but Future Hiro bringing him a purpose has revived his character. Fucking good guy everyman archtype, is boring in a story such as this. Adding emo just made it worst.
Nathan kicks ass because I enjoy watching jackasses, they make for great television. The way he handled being blackmailed was great, although I am now wondering if the mob guy that blackmailed Nikki and Nathan might be related to Sylar.
seeing as how hiro’s the only one that can control time, I wonder if he “already” created a rift in the future from over using his abilities. He seems to stop time on the regular now, maybe later they’ll show the consequences of his abilities.
I mean how else would he know that he’d create a time rift? or even know what a time rift is?!
Maybe Hiro is actually the cause of the destruction he saw in the future. Maybe future Hiro needs to go into the past and kill himself, that’d be some cool storytelling, although still stupid, because if he kills himself how did future Hiro exist.

So the best thing about this episode was, Hiro, and then Nuclear Man (sucks that he killed his wife by accident), more tele-cop, and Peter becoming awesome.

Sylar has shown to be able to use… telekensis, flight, freezing powers, and some sort of slicing ability.
He needs the cheerleader so no one can stop him, the Nuke Man so he can blow up NY without a device, and he gets Issac in that future which means he probably needed him to figure out what to do next for well anything.
Sylar is something personal for the FBI chick fo real.

That’s pretty cool and I thought it was cool how he’s known about “Jessica” from the start. Micah’s no dummy… I’m sure he noticed the personality change in his mom and called her out on it. Jessica seems like the no bullshit type and probably just told him the truth, but also made him keep it a secret from Niki and everyone else.
