I saw the commericial for hiro, i thought a nintendo wii commercial and he stopped time so he can go buy the system first.
anyways, i was looking forward to this show since a couple months ago when i saw the commercials. i was thinking “Xmen for kids, the TV show” and i guess it is in a way. i think this episode was extremely boring and i was skipping through some scenes with Tivo, but i am going to keep watching cause it has alot of potential, this episode was just a character builder, i understand.
i think the commercial for next weeks spoiled a whole lot of shit that i was anticipating to see. wolverine girl seems broken, and so does the pervert teleporting in the womens bathroom.
i still dont understand mirror girl. does her reflection just come out and attack people? i cant wait for a bad guy to chase her in a circus room of mirrors.
i think th indian guy = professor X, he figured out the genetics and people have these powers all over the world.
also, something new they brought up, are they a comic strip in real life? is that the entire show? or was that just for next weeks episode that the nurse draws?

so i saw the repeat and the cliffhanger was cool, until i actually sticked around to see way more than i anticapated bout the whole freakin season it would seem.
the show was alright, though i see how their making everything seemingly linked for no reason other than to give this grandioso finish for the show ala Lost

Where are all the black people on the show? The only one on it was Shaft and he was in a coma. I’ll bet you a dollar that if/when they do have a black “hero” they’re probably gonna have super strength. How typical.

Anyway, I already stated that I think this show sucks, but, regardless of how I feel about it, I predict that it will come to an abrupt end as soon as 24 comes back, since the two shows share the same time slot.
If you can come up with an sound explanation about how someone can bend the space time continuum… you deserve a nobel prize. :wgrin:

I won’t judge a show by 1 episode, so I’ll probobly see 2 or 3 more to see if I’ll actually follow it.
i thought it was okay but like everyone else said i won’t shut this show out after only 1 ep but I’ll see after a couple eps.

I totally dig the show. I’m a big fan of comics, so I’ve been waiting for HEROES to air since I heard about it. The show has a lot of potential, even though it’s been done before (ex. Rising Stars, Supreme Power). I just hope that not all of the main “super” people are good guys, but I’m pretty sure it’ll change by the next episode when they introduce the prison inmate who can phase, a la Kitty Pryde. Hopefully.
By the way, the politician guy is the only brother who can fly. The nurse guy is “telepathically linked” to his brother. I can’t really think of any good reason for that power, but whatever. I imagine the nurse brother and the Indian guy to be the main two. We’ll see.
My only gripes are that I don’t like Ali Larter. Ever since Jay & Silent Bob Strikes Back, she’s been on the negative side for me. And I agree about the whole, “they’re all connected in some way” thing. It’s just too cliche for me.
And yeah, the cheerleader chick is a hottie. Only 17? Only 1 more year before I can think about her and not feel like a perv about it. Oh and for the guy who says that she should be in more scenes in cheerleading gear, she stars in Bring It On 3, and the only reason I know that is because I’m also a big movie buff.
I give the series opener a 3 out 5, but for the series as a whole, a perfect score.

True, for an hour of time for the show, they really didn’t build up into anything. Sure they were just interdoucing the characters and such, but they could’ve add some villians or more drama within’ the story.
