My Heroes Season 1 DVD set came in today through FedEx. Forgot I ordered this thing at the end of May. 
There’s an unaired, 70-minute version of the pilot episode on the first disc. Whoa, dudes. None of it is/was story-altering, at least I don’t think so. But man…

– Remember how Parkman heard that little girl’s voice in the house in the second episode? In this version he was in a house and discovered an Arabian guy. He was chanting prayers and stuff.
– Parkman’s wife is a shorter light-brown haired chick. She’s pretty hot.
– Isaac handcuffed himself to a pipe in his apartment after he went crazy regarding all the paintings he did when he was “high”, cold turkey stuff. This was after Simone showed up and tried to console Isaac and he was yelling her to leave and stuff.
– Remember when Simone was at her dad’s house trying to find some Morphine and a needle for Peter to give to Isaac? Well, they went over there, and Isaac’s hand was CUT OFF! Hahah straight out of Saw or something.
– Oh yeah, that arabian guy? That’s the radioactive guy! There’s a scene where he’s doing the “I can boil this glass of water” thing in it. WTWFFFWTWFTWFWTTF This must’ve been WAAAY before they wrote Ted’s character.
I’m gonna watch it again later on and write some more random stuff.
I’m off to pick up the HD-DVD version of season 1 right now. Hopefully there’s some left in stock!
I’m planning to do a HEROES marathon in one sitting due to this with homework taking second priority over Claire Bear and her mighty yummy onion!

Just got done with the unaired pilot. Wow I didn’t notice that Hiro’s eyes were red as if he was stressed out in that cubicle while trying to stop the clock.
If this pilot did air and the storyline were to continue off that, Heroes would definitely been more different then how it turned out to be.

like the creator said, it’s a character driven drama, not a live action comic book. glad i avoided this thread cuz i enjoyed it for what it is. the webcomic idea is great. i was wondering bout that wireless chick and origin of “the Haitian” and Candice. too bad it seems no one dies in the last episode, i’m sure linderman is gonna make a comeback.
