Nah, SoVA is still thriving actually, a lot of players are picking up slack, with Replays on Wednesday’s held by Foomy, SMP putting together a Tekken group, and Friday’s at Blackula’s still, but most people just post in the SoVA group on facebook now, SoVA: Fighting Game Community
So what time does the Atomic Comics in NN start? I want to make it out since its in my city. I might be able to go, if not, I can definitely come next weekend.

Yeah, they’re my friends on PSN. I used to let them know about local tournaments back in the Vanilla and Super days. I don’t know if they play seriously anymore though.
There are sessions all over the 7 Cities. In Norfolk, there’s Winner’s Sports Bar every Tuesday. The guys who organize that are primarily MK players, but they are open to all games.
Up in Newport News, there’s Atomic Comics on every other Saturday. That’s THE place to go for Marvel. This Sat, they are trying to have an SFIV tourney. On off weeks, Zues, the guy who organizes Atomic Comics sessions will usually host Marvel at his place.
Also, every Friday, there are games near Great Bridge at Blackula’s place. He mainly plays Tekken, but any game is welcome. We usually play SFIV there too.
Sometimes people will randomly host during the week, so if you aren’t apart of the SOVA group on Facebook, you should join it, even if only to look out for session in the area. Everything is posted there.
