Don’t say something like that. It’s almost like contradicting yourself. First you say this guy is busting matrix-level shit (mind you, defying physics, having a full arsenal of top tier moves, etc), and then when he gets pitted up against the champion… You say Ippo doesn’t deserve to be champion? What the fuck kind of logic is that?
That said. Ippo sucks, Sendo owns, and Woli is the lamest character in the story.
Matrix level shit as in doing flashy ridiculous aerobatics. And yeah, he doesn’t deserve to be champ(not saying woli is going to take his belt). He had me going at first, you know, with the whole reading, thinking ahead, the thoughts of someone who has a clue of what he is doing. Now he’s a noob all over again. Will he ever evolve? lvl 99 magikarp. At this rate, he’s going to get knocked unconcious and have his fighting spirit win or some bullshit. He’s no hero.
What a fucking waste of time, all those panels of bullshit showing Ippo’s confidence and seriousness, and now he’s gone into the “WHAT DO I DO!!!” state of a 5 year old, christ Morikawa, after all of the super saiyan chidori bullshit Miyata was able to pull in his RBJ fight, one would think you wouldn’t let the fucking TITLE CHARACTER be getting his ass kicked again like he’s been doing in most of his fights except for his license test and the fight with Karasawa. -.-
Maybe, but don’t blame Ippo, blame the guy who made up Woli. I know what you meant by matrix-level shit, I’m just saying you put Woli up against anyone and what the fuck would they do? Not shit, only person to could probably take him out is either Martinez or Takamura. Mother fuckers like a monkey on steroids + crack + has infinite bullet time or some shit.
I just started reading this manga and I’m only up 300 but so far its really good. And Takamura is a fucking asshole and the greatest all at the same time haha
Damn. I seriously want this fight over with. All the other fights made it believable, even if they were using “super” versions of boxing punches, it still made it feel like it was a super boxing fight. Plus at this rate, Ippo is never gonna fight Ricardo Martinez. Ippo’s been in the business for years at this point in the manga, it feels like this fight is wasting what he should know by now and his growth as a boxer.
Oh, wow. Hey, look at that. I guess everybody forgot what Vorg-san was saying SINCE JUMP STREET.
I hate this fight and I hate this manga, but I’ve wasted days tearing through the original chapters up to the Randy Boy Jr. fight, so now I’m fucking stuck.
