They made Woli not as playful in the ring which is a good thing. He acts like he doesn’t care about boxing, but in the end he actually reminds me of Saeki except less cocky. I swear though, if Ippo tekkens Woli and he gets up, I’ll be disappointed even though it shouldn’t be a 1 hit win, having an incredibly fast as well as sturdy character isn’t fun either. Tekken is bullshit enough, still standing after log nail shots are ridiculous. Grazes down, body shots KO, face shots send you to heaven.

Edit: That’s because Woli needs something for later in the match. Can’t show all your cards in the first round. So far Woli has random super fast shots from nowhere and really in a battle of attrition, nobody ever beats Ippo. You need a shot that basically kills your opponent aka Jolt Counter or Heart Break Corkscrew. Pure speed can’t win, it just doesn’t work and Ippo will never get a decision. NEVER. People will stop reading it if Ippo ever wins or loses by decision.

Impossible to WIN by decision if you are ippo. Ippo is gonna lose or ko someone. I do think he can lose by decision, (taka would have in that one fiht he kept on trying to do stupid shit) but it won’t be by woli. That monkey is on a one way trip to the mats.

Just spent the better part of 3 weeks reading ippo and goddamn it’s awesome. One thing I hate is how Ippo gets hyped up so much but he struggles with everyone. I want to see him body more people like that korean dude who got floored by the dempsey roll or Karasawa(sp). If Ippo was really like Ryu, then Woli’s shenanigans would just get brushed off and get his shit hammered. That’s what Vorg should have done to him, fucking hammered and sickled MOTHERRUSSIA red cyclone style.
