The Hajime no Ippo (HnI) thread - Gazelle Punch Her in the Gut!

so who’s better? saizen or animebreaker? i’m currently rolling with the animebreaker subs, but i’d definitely want the best subs for the best anime.

I’m with Animebreaker, but these French subbers are all right with me for the simple fact that the subs are not cut off on my TV.

Just watched EP5 on Kumby. Shit was hype. Can’t wait for Date’s fight.

really? i skimmed through it and i could only see that the intro was in french.

saizen are high quality releases. go for animebreaker or someone else if you prefer speed.

:looney: it’s up! just watched ep4 yesterday over there

…everythings turning up tatsu :looney:

re: Ippo wont fight Miyata

if Ippo’s ring name is god of wind and Miyata’s ring name is god of thunder… surely there be a storm a brewing

I’ld like to see Ryo Mashiba clash with Takeshi Sendo or Alex-Gief but if Miyata does go up a weight class… that fight could hold more meaning.

I have a question to whom ever of yall are playing or have played that hni game for psp. How do you beat the matches that are actually lost in the story line? Like im talking about date vs ippo and kimura vs mashiba. Date just destroyed my ass cuz ippo is too fucking slow, and right now im having trouble winning at least by decision against mashiba. I keep getting draws against that mofo. Damn this shit is pretty aggravating to the point were i wish i could kill these bastards:mad:

I beat that by DOWNLOADING A COMPLETE SAVE FILE OFF DA INTERNETS

Seriously, I didn’t bother with story mode at all.

Ah, yeah I had already beat the game on hard and unlocked everyone except kamogawa and nekota. Im just going through the story again because well this game kicks ass and this time around I want to beat those match ups. I already beat martinez with date on hard im just having a hell of time trying to beat date and mashiba.

i’d like to see Sendo fight’s Miyata instead, it would be great :lovin::lovin::lovin:

They already did, Sendo won.

That was a spar.

wow… that was an amazing spoiler dude, thanks :annoy: :annoy: :annoy:

It was a sparring match with Miyata not really feeling it so it’s not really much of a spoiler. It was like a 1 chapter glove touch with Sendo talking shit after. Plus it’s no surprise, but Sendo will never meet Mashiba in the ring, they’re in different weight classes now and Sendo will never switch as long as Ippo is still fighting. Honestly though, I couldn’t see Mashiba winning that fight anyways, Sendo would tear him apart because flickers wouldn’t lock down Sendo and Mashiba would then get fucked at mid-ranged because Mashiba works the far and close range game with flickers and close range rushes, Sendo plays the game in between and Mashiba doesn’t have anything for that range. Smash really fucks up Mashiba’s style.

yo, you dont need to be worse now :annoy: :annoy: :annoy:

edit: ok, am outta this topic T_T

You do realize that you started talking about Miyata and ended by talking about Mashiba without using any transitions, right? So… which one are you referring to?

I see.

I just used the save file to simulate all the fights to the best of my knowledge.

I beat Ricardo with Itagaki because Itagaki’s bullet time is fucking broken.

You know who I absolutely can’t beat as Ippo (that should be beatable)? Sawamura. His bullet jabs really fuck me up and TKO me long before I get a TKO or knock him out for 10.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

do we need to put up a floating banner on this topic that says we follow the naruto/bleach and one piece way of writing…only new releases get spoiler warnings?

Personally, there is no reason to give up Saizen. Seeing how everyone else is taking 5+ days to sub it…

If someone comes out before saizen I usually download it to watch and then download saizen for archives.

Ninja Edit: Martinez looks awesome and Date has a mullet. No wonder this show is so goddamn kickin’!

Except for a few grammatical errors, Animebreaker’s subs have been really good. Not Dattebayo quality/ turnaround , but then again, what really is these days?

The reason why I like to take spars into consideration is because I want to keep in mind Date isn’t the only to win over Ippo. Not only that, but a lot of the spars’ matchup are freaking dreams. The rematch between Vorg and Ippo alone was more awesome than a lot of his title defenses.
