MVC2 PC emulation info if anyone is interested.
Summary
So, @shingouki2 recommended RetroArch for running MVC2 and from what I can see, it runs it flawlessly - just like ReDream does (and not at all like how Demul/NullDC do, which runs it like shit). But unlike ReDream, it’s got a bunch of graphic options (different resolutions, buffering/rendering options etc) free, whereas ReDream asks you to buy the $5 premium edition to only adjust the resolution.
Also, I’m really glad I tried this out, because anything other than the native 640x480 seems to mess up some of the sprites (mostly noticeable on beams where there are gaps in the sprites as the beam spans across the screen). So, with RetroArch, I kept it at 640x480 but used its additional buffering options to squeeze out some better graphic so now it looks pretty damn good through an HDMI cable on my 40” TV.
RetroArch also allow some Netplay (if two people are playing the same versions), and it is peer to peer, unlike Parsec which is basically like using TeamViewer from what I gather… The only issue is people need to exchange their IP addresses (I think, this program seems to be updated very often, so maybe they’ve fixed it), but anyways, I probably wouldn’t play any strangers, but would be up for playing most of you if you’re interested.
It was a bit of a pain to install. I’ll add a YT link at the bottom which helped me the most, but on top of what it shows, I could only seem to get Dreamcast .CHD rom files to run, and for MVC2, I could only find .CDI and .GCI files. Thankfully, I was able to find a .GCI to .CHD converter that seemed sketchy but did exactly what it said it would do. I can send a link via PM if anyone is interested.
@ElliePhil and @Pertho may be up for it. Not sure what I’m going to spend my time labbing to be honest, but if there are people here looking for games, I’d drop DBFZ and focus on this, BFTG, and GBVS.
TL;DR: RetroArch runs it very well (with better graphic options than ReDream) and seems to have a built in peer to peer netplay option. May be worth testing out if anyone else is down.

SFV is hardly my favorite iteration but it’s still a SF title and i really like the franchise. But again,no forum thread sticks to a single topic. There’s only so much you can squeeze out of it.
