Started playing Granblue and I already have to abandon the character I wanted to play. I went in expecting to main Ladiva and I don’t think this guy has what it takes. Characters can duck the lariat and the heavy attack, his SPD doesn’t do big damage and can’t follow up with anything, EX headbutt seems to be the only option for applying pressure and linking strings midscreen. I’m going to drop him to secondary and make Charlotta my main.
Thinking about trying out ladiva when I get to a good spot with my gran. Feel like she gets real dangerous when she gets super
So I looked at some framedata. Gran is airbone during his Granboots.
My next quest is to Airthrow him out of his Ex Granboot for maximum mental damage.

I’m having a similar problem with GBVS’ chars that I had with SFV for forever: no one really quite “clicks” the way I want them to. Still early though, hopefully more lab time and matches sort things out.
I think I’m secretly a Katalina player but I want to play the field a bit before settling in. Also give a little more time for DLC chars to roll out (3-5 are all interesting at least aesthetically).

No. Because they aren’t, and it’s not even remotely close.

Not really. Maybe some regional dialect means different things, but it’s not so much different it becomes an issue in interpreting what they mean. I think Spanish is kind of like that though.

Wtf is the deal with Beezlebub or whatever his name is. I haven’t seen much mention of him. Never stood a chance against the tiddy sword girl.
The mission mode combos for him were kinda swag at least.
Only thing interesting about Narmaya for me is her hitbox tiddies. 
Getting in and staying in are my biggest issues with Ladiva. I wish his lariat had some kind of armor. Ladiva just isn’t clicking with me right now.

If he is a decent counter against ferry I might play him lol. Go1’s narmaya had a set with fenrittis beezlebub. Think someone uploaded it on youtube

He fights ferry and metra pretty well actually, he seems mad basic though. Which I enjoy, he basically has an answer for almost everything in the game currently.
