I prefer consoles because they are convenient and the games i like are usually on them.
Not to mention that for stuff like fgs and racing games they will always have the biggest playerbase.

Why is it an 8-bit style Hotel? I thought I’m playing Guilty Gear, not Tiny Tower
Why are you offered avatar customization options that have jack shit to do with the series, besides Faust’s scalpel as your “weapon”?
Why can’t I know who is trying to challenge me and when was the challenge issued, until an Accept Match popup appears?
Why can’t I hide the sidemenu with the “news”? There’s literally nothing there besides a bunch of placeholder shit, and I’m pretty sure if this stays on long enough it’ll cause burn-in on your LCD screen (though idk if this isn’t an issue on newer modern TVs and monitors)
Why did they keep the Region selection but the “rooms” are now “skill level floors”, that are also themed after Babel Tower for some reason? I guess the rock and metal song names used for these floors are a nice touch
Why am I immediately being forced out of the floor if I “rank up” or “rank down” after winning/losing a match? If I was running sets against somebody that means I have to waste time exiting the current floor and going back into the one I was in. Also keep in mind some floors may (and probably will be) empty, so dividing them by skill ceiling makes no sense, and (at least in the beta) you cannot go to the lowest skill floors once you rank up high enough

See, this is a problem that rap culture accidentally created and a trap that I fell into with that word. That word ain’t a playing word. You read it occasionally in SRK and it gives you a false impression of what it means fully.

But I can beat you good money that you ain’t walking to random black people in the US on some “my nigga” shit. I’ve virtually erased it out of my vocabulary because after a lot of reading and and thinking, it never really needed and doesn’t need to be part of my vocab.

Day 2 of lobbies just finished. I’m loving this game so far and the in game connections aren’t too bad either. The lobbies being absolutely jank does bring it down though.

I’ll have to test against EU lobbies tomorrow but yeah, outside of minor stutters during the “Let’s rock!” sequence the matches felt rather smooth. Of course the game doesn’t tell you the actual delay numbers but I haven’t felt like my inputs were ignored/misread by the game, just mistimed by myself
