Nice! I saw that some people were able to get in. All they can do is do make a lobby avatar and play a cpu match before it stops right there. Glad this is the one guy to use Faust, now for a beginner’s overview.
Summary
-He doesn’t seem to have a voice at all. Especially weird since his VA is already voicing Potemkin. With the direction they are taking, it has to be intentional.
-Love (The head explosion projectile) is back.
-I was getting worried, but it’s confirmed that Faust has other items to throw instead of just Mini Faust.
- The weight. It appears to only stun instead of knockdown if you don’t get hit but are still on the ground.
- Meteors seem to come down pretty fast but that may just be the super item toss.
- Much like V. Joe, his bomb can now be moved by attacking it it seems.
- New Item: Afro. Gives the character an Afro if they run over it.
- New Item: Bugle. Grabbing it will call in an army of Mini Fausts after the horn sounds.
-Unless the player didn’t do them, his thrust special seems to have lost their follow ups after reeling part.
-His pogo stance seems to be missing as well.
-With the above change, he can now do Going My Way on the ground.
-Scarecrows did replace the doors. One version has him attack from the crow in front, one from the crow behind, and the other has him dive from the top.
-New animation for his promixty unblockable (ghetto command grab). Character ends with an Afro after he slices them up with surgical knives. Unlike the version in Rev, the character can’t burst out of it.
-Super Item toss looks to be unchanged. The only Super the player did. No sign of a ‘cinematic’ one or a super super item toss.

All of Faust’s normals and Mini Faust. A little different from previous ones, he’s more like Nappa’s saibamen. He walks around a bit before getting angry and flying at the other character. Doesn’t look like you can hit him until he attacks. And with how frequently he got them to come out, it’s possible it’s separate from his item toss.
Blue Mary is an underrated SNK waifu.

Funny enough I watched a clip of Lil Majin playing Sonicfox. Sonicfox was on Zafina.
Only thing that came to mind was “well that makes sense”

Had zero interest in Strive beta. Was offered a beta key by a friend. Do I dare waste this opportunity?
Zafina, Rocket Raccoon, Azwel, FANG, G (I think)… SonicFox is a genius.
I remember seeing SonicFox talking about loving Tekken and I immediately thought “bet he plays Zafina”.
She’s a very SonicFox-y character, so it makes a lot of sense honestly.

I think SS is around where most good players stop playing ranked in GBVS (I see top placers at NLBC being SS at least)? Probably aiming for that next. Reaching S wasn’t too hard, even though I got absolutely murdered a few times.

You’ll be getting a taste of the general gameplay. If that doesn’t work for you then you’ll at least know it ain’t for you.
Delay based netcode too so if you’ve played GBVS, you aren’t missing out on much involving how that’s gonna work.
