god who knew rice could be so complicated. Getting a lot of reports here. I think I’m going to copy paste this onto a doc for tomorrow, I plan on making some rice and roast beef for dinner tomorrow.

Prepackaged roast beef, luckily. I’m not ready for roasting yet.

Water is fine, it just doesn’t add taste, I’d suggest stock if you have bullion cubes available.

Margarine is an healthy surrogate, that’s why people use it. it can lower LDL cholesterol and is not a saturated fat.
The problem is that it tastes bad.
Extra virgin olive oil should be the go to for anything but deep frying, healthy and tasty.
technically deep frying in it is amazing too (taste wise), but it would be prohibitively expensive.
The thing to deep fry therefore should be lard.

On a side note, it’s time to lose this concept that eating fat is bad, cholesterol is, and anyway sugar is what you should be avoiding.

If you can’t figure out cooking rice just buy a rice cooker.

Just realized that since DualShock 5 has a built-in microphone you’ll be able to hear ningens smoking pot while playing fighting games in the evening. Good shit.

This was 8 hours ago but I’ll co-sign this. Real, fresh butter from like a farmers market or something tastes like it was made from milk straight from an angels titty.

Also how do you make Teriyaki chicken properly? My favorite Chinese place is closed so I can’t just buy the meal. The sauce I bought is way thicker than the shit the restaurant uses but even then it never comes out as good.

Teriyaki is Japanese.
That said, you can take the teriyaki sauce from any online recipe.
Once you have that, the way I do it is marinating the chicken in the sauce for half a day then just stir fry the chicken in a pan with oil, add minced garlic, when the chicken is crispy (make room possibly in the middle of the pan) and once the garlic is caramelized pour sauce and stir until the sauce is thicc and ridicc.

The marinating step can be skipped if you didn’t pre-plan, but it makes it much better.

Nice! Feels like beat em ups have been getting their due lately. Loved The Ninja Saviors - everything about that game was beastly. Hopefully Streets 4 will come with it too.

Alright guys I have an issue with SF5:

Before I moved to Eugene I had no problems getting matches, but last night I was trying to play against my best friend near Chicago and it was pretty much Lagfest 2020. Even changed to the Google DNS server and still nada. Any ideas to get my matches going again? (I have an idea of what some of y’all might say lol)
