The GranGlue Fighter Lounge: Corona Virus bodied Shadaloo Free AF

Console manufacturers like Sony and Microsoft buy the parts in bulk. And they take a loss too. Recouping it when people subscribe to their online service/buying games and additional controllers etc.

Nintendo is the only one selling their consoles at a premium with low end parts and making a profit from day 1.

Haven’t we all fantasized about running around in our underpants while beating the shit out of people though?

Lol, I just posted this in the covid thread. This list is ridiculous. I honestly feel like this gave a pass to a lot of companies that were on the fence and not working. I expect the roads to be busier today and tomorrow.

Outside of a pure lock-everything-down situation, you can see the logic for most of the list. Everything is inter-connected. Most of things in that list would cause knock-on effects if shut down. You need grocery stores open to supply food, but you need various transportation systems to get the food, workers, and customers to the stores, and the infrastructure to fuel the vehicles and deal with accidents, and… Shut down the hotels and you suddenly have a lot of people on the street with no where to stay. Shut down fast food and you have a lot of people who don’t know how to fix food, or have the food itself to fix.

The question is whether you are still in a more casual lock-some-stuff-down situation or have reached a legitimate ****-the-consequences lock-everything-down situation.

Apparently Namco badly overtuned their new character. Again.

Kazuya?

Fakhumram’s overtuned?

Is he as overpowered as Leroy? I’m on my way home from work and haven’t got the chance to try it yet.

It’s too early to say yet, but I watched the best Dragunov in Europe lab him just now. Takeaway-notes:

  • top tier sidestep. One of three(?) characters that can still step Mishima hellsweeps at small disadvantages
  • really great pokes, both stand-alone and because most of his core pokes have good strings coming out of thwn
  • top notch block punishment
  • low risk high reward string mixups you can’t step out of or fuzzy guard, forcing you to guess. And even if you guess right you only get small punishes if you even get that
  • insane range
  • good damage
  • absolutely insane wallgame, as he had an i13 mid that forces a 50-50 into wallsplat on block (and none of the options can be stepped or punished particularly hard if you do guess wrong)

Whether he’s release day Leroy remains to be seen, but he’s REALLY good by the looks of it. And annoying AF

Soriz translation thread

Lacks a meter less reversal. His desperation super is the loincloth install that powers up all of his special moves. The giant punch is a separate move he can only do while in it and it doesn’t use any meter.

Yeah just one thing.
Was there something with my eyes or did Soriz Growler during the Trailer?
Will he be the unga bunga, that even Azrael would envy

Must be his 5U, he has kind of a Gief Flex. Doesn’t work like Growler at all.

No followups on the rush moves, the wait for Akihiko 2.0 continues.

Dude looks cool af tho.

This character’s wall game and block punishes are gonna be OD lmao.

He may not be release Leroy, but he’s gonna be stronk as fuck.

I think djeeta’s kick that they showed is just her 5L, so itll probably just be similar to zetas 5L

Fuck-a-ram sounds good.

New sugarpunch video is out and it’s just a list of GBVS references, boy was I disappointed

Soriz might be dat dude. He looks so fuckin’ cool. No reversal outside of Super kinda sucks but I live that Vaseraga life so I’m used to it.
