I always wondered why Warhammer dudes never gave Blizzard shit for basically copying 99% of Warhammer things and renaming it Starcraft.
Blizzard outright said Warcraft and Starcraft took inspiration from Warhammer, cause 90% of their developers were huge fans and even into the tabletop.
Games Workshop doesn’t care who makes them money, as long as they do make money.
Be more mad about all the devs not making good Warhammer games.
Although there are a bunch of good ones.
The Dawn of War series, consisting of Dawn of War 1 + 2 and their expansions.
Space Marine was also good, sadly the series died with THQ and Relic is since the flop with, the game that shall not be named, probably not going to touch the IP for a while.
Gothic Armada is good.
There are a number of smaller dev games, that are all great.
Gladius, Mechanicus, Armageddon.
In terms of fantasy there are currently only two good titels.
Total War Warhammer 2
and Vermintide 2
