Capcom could just be rolling back some of their changes, due to claims that the patch made console and wifi matches worse.

With Capcom working on improving their netcode and more Japanese companies moving forward to introduce rollback netcode in their fighting games there are no more doubts: the End Times have come and soon we will be judged for our sins.
Hopefully it’ll at least wait until RE3 is out tho.

Update on SRK_Forums stream:
Still working on sorting out so I can stream properly from my set up. I have a friend from out of town so its hard to get time in to work on it. He leaves saturday, so I’ll have a lot more hands on time when I get there.
After a few kinks are resolved we’ll start doing shenanigans for the rest of quarantine time.
